There is a passage in 2 Corinthians the 6th chapter, that defines true ministry:

3 We give no offense in anything, that our ministry may not be blamed. 4 But in all things we commend ourselves as ministers of God: in much patience, in tribulations, in needs, in distresses, 5 in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in sleeplessness, in fastings; 6 by purity, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by sincere love, 7 by the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, 8 by honor and dishonor, by evil report and good report; as deceivers, and yet true; 9 as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold we live; as chastened, and yet not killed; 10 as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things. 11 O Corinthians! We have spoken openly to you, our heart is wide open.”

The words above are a powerful reminder of how true ministry must be represented. As we close in on the soon return of Jesus for His faithful followers, it will take every effort on our part to represent our Savior faithfully and in truth. The enemy of our souls will do anything possible to cause strife, dissension, and damage to the work of God’s Kingdom. It was Jesus who told us that “the devil comes to kill, steal, and destroy, but He has come to give us life, and life more abundantly.”

The real-life testimonials that have been passed on by the brothers Abdulrahem, Omar, Jaafar, show how great the ingathering of souls in the Middle East is today. I have been in contact many times a day with the brethren and this has helped me to pass on accurate details.

The call of ministry to the Middle East Pastor Rashid was commissioned many years ago is continuing today. The entire operation is being overseen by Rashid’s close friend from many years ago, brother Abdelrahem. A powerful proof to his calling is Abdelrahem’s major heart attack, death experience, and supernatural healing. It would have been physically impossible to travel back up into Syria two days after being clinically dead, especially at 85 years of age. This is God’s doing and proof of the Holy Spirit’s call on him. Brother Omar is working closely with him as his right hand man, as he did for years with Pastor Rashid.

Having written updates for HOB for many years, I have been asked by Abdelrahem and Omar to make it clear to readers that there is no longer a ministry connection with HOB’s original office. Omar has had contact or a connection with anyone there in a long time, nor have any funds come into his hands. Funds were normally Omar’s responsibility to distribute as needed in the past. The work of the ministry is, however, going full speed and is quickly escalating as the Holy Spirit opens the doors. Readers will be aware of this if the updates have been read in the past few weeks.

Brother Omar has made some rather straight-forward statements concerning the changes in the House of Blessing and has asked me to pass them on to all those who support and pray for the House of Blessing. I have printed the essence of his message below. I have done my best to make it understandable.

Hello again, my brother Jack. I have just left a meeting with the brothers and sisters, and we all agreed on the following. What Abdelrahem said is that he is a beloved person in whose heart the Lord has placed love and humility. It is he who has taught us, as Pastor Rashid, to handle money with our hands, but the Bible with our hearts. This is the key to be beloved and successful in the ministry. These should not be reversed to where we think sources of support’ with our hearts as we pass out Bibles with our hands. Put the Bible in your hearts in several languages and let it be your weapon in life.”

Abdelrahem continued, “we have no connection with Noura, Talal, or Yanal. We are not honored by those who have left behind the covenant with Christ and Pastor Rashid. If someone wants to give, let him give only by the direction of the Lord, so that the blessing is not lost.” He went on to say, “We have a covenant and our belief is strong. We will sacrifice for Christ, even if we have to sell our clothes — not just our possessions. We will work to continue Rashid’s passion for souls, and we will complete the journey. We will deliver the message to the people and spread God’s love everywhere as he did. The message to supporters is, not to give unless directed to by the Lord.”

I also have a message from brother Abdelrahem (who among the missionaries is referred to as Father Abdelrahem in respect of his age and leadership). I will also share the essence of his message.

Hello my brothers and sisters in Jesus, this is a message from Father Abdelrahem, the pastor of the institution (House Of Blessing organization), as we are approaching a very difficult time. Believe me, time is passing quickly beyond what you can imagine. Here, people are following Christ, sheikhs are converting from Islam to faith in Jesus, but by the facilitation (power) of the Lord. For those that might think we are competing for funds, this is not true. We do not lack for anything because God is our supplier. The needs are there but no one should give without direction from the Lord.”

He went on: “Time is running out and what is ahead is much greater than what we see today. Believe me, souls are dying and, and many are being sacrificed for the sake of Christ. People must wake up from their sleep! There are great sacrifices being made here…”

There were more things said and I will continue to share them with you. Thank you all for your prayers. Please pray for the House of Blessing. Those who are sharing the Good News about Jesus, are paying a heavy price, but thousands are professing their faith in Jesus. Bibles are being distributed as they are available and many thousands of teaching booklets are being printed and distributed. There are, however, never enough. If someone has a desire to donate, please do it at the leading of the Lord only, as both Abdelrahem and Omar have requested. Thank you. Email addresses are provided below to help facilitate this. Funds are being distributed directly by Abdelrahem and Omar. Thank You!

Forever in His Service,

Jake (aka Jack)
