Millions of people across the continental United States were able to view the Great American Eclipse on August 21, 2017. The eclipse entered the State of Oregon at 9:05 AM Pacific Daylight Time and crossed the entire continental United States, exiting the State of South Carolina at 4:09 PM Eastern Daylight Time. The trek across the continent took roughly four hours. The actual length of time that the moon obscured the sun to viewers varied from 2 minutes at Government Point, on the Oregon Coast, to its longest time of almost three minutes as the eclipse crossed Carbondale, Illinois.
I learned in 2017 that there was another Great American Eclipse coming on April 8, 2024 and I remember thinking to myself that 2024 seemed such a long way off yet. But, here we are now only a few months from the April 2024 date. Before diving a little deeper into the subject, I would like to remind the reader that Jesus was the one who said there would be signs in the sun, moon, and stars at the end of the age. There have been a number of notable “heavenly signs” over the past few years. Some Biblical scholars have disparaged any significance to these signs in the heavens, but we are sometimes guilty of not recognizing the forest for the trees — for example, the four blood moons in 2014 and 2015, two per year, which all happened to fall on Jewish feast days. These blood moons were not intended to set dates for coming events; they were merely harbingers of coming events.
The second Great American Eclipse will be on April 8, 2024. The eclipse will enter the State of Texas from Mexico and then will cross Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, barely touching the corners of Tennessee and Michigan on the way across, and finally exiting the United States at the Maine / Canada border.
The first Great American Eclipse made headlines all over the world. History tells us that it was the first solar eclipse since 1918 that was able to be seen all the way from the west coast to the east coast of the continental United States. What is stunning is that when one looks at a map showing the paths of both eclipses, they form a giant “X” across America. It may sound strange to some readers, but I have provided a map at the end of this writing for your examination.
As one views the paths the two solar eclipses take on the same map, it is impossible to miss that the enormous “X” is positioned directly over the heartland of the continental United States.
What is also interesting to note is that the location at which the two eclipse paths cross happens to be right in the middle of the New Madrid Fault Zone. Some readers may be familiar with the danger this fault line poses, but others may not. Historical records show that there were more than 200 moderate to large earthquakes in the vicinity between December 16, 1811 and March 15, 1812. Five quakes registered at about 7.7 magnitude or possibly even higher; 10 at about 6.7 magnitude, 35 at about 5.9 magnitude, 65 at about 5.3 magnitude, and 89 at a magnitude of about 4.3. Scientists have feared for some time now that the next set of quakes along the New Madrid Fault Zone might possibly be of much greater strength, enough to greatly alter the geography of the area — possibly even split the continental United States into two separate land masses — one to the east and one to the west. The population in the early 1800’s at the time of these quakes was pretty sparse and so there was not a significant loss of life. That is, however, not the case today. This time it could affect multiplied millions, many of them living in large cities such as Memphis Tennessee, Little Rock Arkansas, St. Louis Missouri, and others.
The exact intersection of the “X” is in Carbondale, Illinois. Carbondale is located in southern Illinois in an area known as “Little Egypt.” In fact, “Little Egypt” even has a town by the name of Cairo and another by the name of Thebes. Isn’t that interesting? I can see a significance to the bullseye being in a place referencing Egypt, can you?
But, as famous news commentator Paul Harvey used to say, “Now for the rest of the story.” On October 14th, 2023 an Annular Eclipse will cross the United States from Oregon to Texas. An “Annular Solar Eclipse” happens when the Moon passes between the Sun and the Earth, but when it is at or near its farthest point from Earth. Because the Moon is farther away from Earth, it appears smaller than the Sun and does not completely cover the Sun as it would in a total eclipse. As a result, the Moon appears as a dark disk on top of a larger, bright disk, creating what looks like a ring of fire around the Moon.
Here is an interesting fact: When we overlay the path of the Annular Solar Eclipse over the Great American Eclipse of 2017 and the soon to come Great American Eclipse of 2024, we find that the three eclipses combine to create a giant “Aleph” across America. The “Aleph” is the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet. The “Aleph” in Hebrew has a numerical value of “one”. The “Aleph” is also representative of God and the oneness of God. The One true God. The “Aleph” is also made up of three lines — also the number of God; The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. In the Bible, the number three represents divine wholeness, completeness, and perfection.
The Hebrew words for “one”, “ I”, and “Lord” all begin with “Aleph.” “Aleph” is the root word for “aluph” which means “master”, particularly denoting a master of the Torah, which further alludes to GOD. “Aleph” is the initial letter of many of the Attributes and Names of God, therefore it embodies Divinity. For example: “Adonai” — Lord; “Adir” — the Mighty One; “El” — God’s Attribute of Mercy; and “Elohim” — God’s Attribute of Judgment. Knowing this could cause some shivers! That’s like God’s signature across the United States of America!
If we view the map of the three eclipses, we can clearly see what looks like a large capital “A” (almost laying on its side) like a giant cattle brand over the continental United States. What does it all mean, and does it have special significance? An extra piece of information found on Google is that the new moon in Jerusalem will be — wait for it — October 14th, 2023. That is the exact day the Annular Solar Eclipse will cross the United States from Oregon to Texas! A Google search also reveals that the new moon over Jerusalem in April 2024 is on April 8 — and once again, the very day the second Great American Eclipse crosses America, completing the “Aleph”. April 8th also happens to be the first day of the first month on the Hebrew calendar, their Biblical new year’s day.
None of this information is intended to support any specific date for any specific prophetic event. Rather, they are evidence of a very personal God who has always spoken through His creation to those who are listening, able to hear, willing to see His signs or harbingers of things to come. Personally, I do not think that the timing and coordination of these events on the map of the United States are a coincidence. Something big is coming and it’s coming very soon. God is speaking, and He is speaking loudly. Actually, God has been speaking to America for a long time but most have not paid any attention. Soon, everyone will be forced to hear, whether they are listening or not. The wise, however, will take note while we are still in the Age of Grace and there is still time to make the choice to invite Jesus Christ to be our Savior and Lord. It was God all along who has said many times and in innumerable ways throughout the Scriptures, “Choose you this day whom you will serve!”
“I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No man comes to the Father except through Me!” John 14:6
The Apocalypse is showing its shadow and Jesus is returning very, very SOON! Today, not tomorrow, is the day of salvation!
Forever in His Service,
Jake Geier
