I was thinking over all the stories of great victories that the House of Blessing has experienced in past years, but also stories of great tragedy and suffering. Our entire world is in great trouble today but it is what Jesus told us would be the case, especially at the end of the age.
Psalm 72 starts with King Solomon as the main subject. It is known as a coronation psalm written by Solomon. The majority of the psalm, however, is referring to a much greater kingdom than that of Solomon — especially beginning at verse 5 where it says, “They shall fear You as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations…” In verse 8, the psalm speaks of a kingdom that extends from sea to sea and unto the ends of the earth. Not until Jesus Christ rules as King will there be a kingdom that encompasses the entire world, beginning at His millennial reign and extending into the eternal state.
A greater King and a greater Kingdom are coming. Jesus is rightly called the KING of Kings and LORD of Lords. His rule will be supreme over all peoples around the globe. You and I cannot even imagine the wonders of what God has planned for us throughout eternity. We cannot help but exclaim what Solomon wrote in verse 18-19: Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only does wondrous things! And blessed be His glorious name forever! And let the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen and Amen.
Now on to the House of Blessing…
This report was received from Dr. Bandis on June 11, 2026. Dr. Bandis shares some thoughts and appropriate scriptures concerning the missionary work that is being done by the HOB missionaries. He also provides a number of names so that we can pray for these brothers and sisters specifically. They request this quite often. Even if the names are hard to pronounce, we can at least put our hands on the names and bring them before the Lord in prayer. God knows each one of them quite well!
Greetings Brother Jack:
Peace be upon you and all the beloved of Jesus, my brother Jack. I was discussing with Pastor Abdelrahem and the elders how fortunate we are to have the Lord’s love for us when we follow Jesus. Jesus often said things that made His listeners wonder if they had heard correctly. One such instance was when He said:
12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. 13And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.” John 14:12-14
How often do we read this passage without pausing to truly understand what Jesus meant? The Bible teaches us that Jesus is the “Word” of God. In fact, the very first verse of John, chapter 1, tells us that the “Word” is God! This is Jesus Himself in the gospel of John chapter 14, saying that His followers would not only perform the same works He did while walking the rough roads of Israel, but they would do even greater things!
Consider this for a moment. Jesus healed lepers! He healed the blind, the deaf, the mute, and the lame! He restored withered limbs and freed the possessed from their captors! He calmed the raging storm! He even raised the dead! Is it conceivable that we, His faithful followers, could do even greater things? This is what Jesus literally said! Yet most of us don’t believe it literally. However, all it takes is a mustard seed of faith (a mustard seed being the smallest seed a farmer could plant in the first century).
We have all had the experience of asking God for a miracle, but not seeing it happen as we asked. But this doesn’t mean that miracles don’t happen. There is a tremendous outpouring of the Holy Spirit in many parts of the world today, and the supernatural manifestations promised in the Bible are increasing. This is precisely what is happening among believers in the Middle East today. Some of these miracles are truly astonishing. In the north, west, and east in Iran, Syria, and Iraq, the Lord has protected people from the bitter cold of winter, not through clothing, but through the supernatural intervention of the Holy Spirit!
For those who know, the Holy Spirit has been healing many through the prayers of communion. These prayers, which combine communion and healing, are being held in several locations throughout the Middle East. The recent series of miracles witnessed and documented by the missionaries of the House of Blessing began in Fallujah, Iraq, and quickly spread to Syria. Now, the same is happening in Kurdistan, as well as in several locations in Iran.
Just so you know, four new educational centers have been established to train new believers on how to spread the Word of God. They have already begun an in-depth course that helps them learn the fundamentals of the Word and how to share it with others. I am pleased to share the news that similar training centers are opening in Syria, Iraq, Kurdistan, and Azerbaijan.
I would like to share the names of the teachers who are guiding new believers in Iran and the surrounding region. These teachers are so certain of the power of prayer that they have asked brothers and sisters around the world to pray for them so that they may teach God’s word accurately and powerfully through the Holy Spirit, and of course, with God’s protection. Join those who pray for these men daily. I have now received more names to add to the prayer list. I know some of the names may be difficult for Westerners to pronounce, but God doesn’t mind, He knows perfectly well who they are!
The ministry schools are smaller in the newer areas, but they will grow rapidly with the training of the people and with our prayers. Here are the names I received through the HOB leadership in several regions of Iran:
- Two sisters (facilitating communion and praying for the sick): Safinaz and Salwa, and Sister Khawla, each with five assistants.
- Women who teach women: Bahija, Sabah, Maliha (Dari’s widow), and 45 sisters who work at organization and teaching.
- Brothers who teach: Fayez, Azar, Baha, Faisal, Karim, Jawad, Fadi, AbdelAal, Abdel Azim, Zouz, Fahd, Jamal Shishtawi (a religious leader), Haj Tawfiq, and each with 25 assistants.
- HOB leadership overseeing the missionaries: Omar, Shahbandar, Mortada, and Sheikh Haboush (a friend of the late Sheikh Dari), as well as Ma-touq and Aylout Eban.
- Sisters: Samira, Zahra, Sarah, Fadioa, Shamsah, Noufa, Ne’mati, and Aziza, and their assistants, 12 each.
- Sisters teaching about the Baptism of the Holy Spirit: Ikhlas and her companions. She worked at praying for 50 widows to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and there are an additional 100 who have been trained to teach the same and pray over women.
- Brothers training new teachers: Ziad, Qasim, Sheikh Al-Alouli, Hilmi, Jihad, Azzo, and Taleb. Each has an assistant.
In the new Schools of Ministry, great things are happening. These courageous disciples have sacrificed their lives for the Lord’s service, and many more will pay the ultimate price — but not before completing the path the Lord of the harvest has laid out for them.
The situation in the Middle East is worsening, and thousands lack even the most basic necessities. HOB continues to provide assistance as much as it can, but the need is dire. We ask for your prayers and for you to listen to what the Holy Spirit may inspire.
I ask you to continue praying for Pastor Abdelrahem, who is still suffering from the effects of the Mustard Gas chemicals that caused severe lung congestion in him and the elder brothers. It is difficult for them to breathe, and I am still suffering, but the Lord is watching over us. We ask you to pray for the two brothers who were beaten and whose truck, along with its load of booklets was completely burned. The Lord is the Lord of the harvest, and He will compensate us with good. I would like to conclude with this:
14When the hour had come, He sat down, and the twelve apostles with Him. 15Then He said to them, “With fervent desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer; 16for I say to you, I will no longer eat of it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.” 17Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, “Take this and divide it among yourselves; 18for I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.” 19And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” 20Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you. Luke 22:14-20

This report was also sent from Dr. Bandis and was received on June 15, 2026. In the report below, Dr. Bandis makes reference to Sheikh Dari who was murdered just days ago and what happened at the mosque the last time he spoke. There will be additional information about his death and also a very interesting story having to do with the killer and his family. You will find the story in part two of this update. Don’t miss it!
Greetings Brother Jack:
We have news from Omar and his brothers that the HOB missionaries have reached dozens more families in their location. They are continuing their efforts cautiously, hoping to avoid detection by the authorities while still successfully reaching these families.
I should also mention the men who were converted to the faith, thanks to Sheikh Dari’s sermon at the mosque a few days ago. Five thousand new believers have already joined God’s family because of this man’s testimony and teaching. Pastor Abdelrahem and I felt that this event at the mosque would ultimately lead to thousands more coming to Jesus Christ! And we are already witnessing the beginning of this.
Brother Jack, thinking about all the suffering everywhere around us… who is truly meeting the spiritual needs of all these dying people? Only the missionaries, through the power of our Lord, the Lord of the harvest. God still keeps the door open, but who really cares about the news of all these people? Most of the world still hears about it, talks about it, and holds meetings and conferences everywhere. Only the missionaries are preaching the Gospel of the power of Jesus’ blood, healing the sick and wounded, and raising the dead. They are also doing their best to deliver supplies as best they can, trying to keep people alive long enough to help them with their spiritual needs. Pray for us, and thank those who are doing so.
My brother Jack, today we desperately need prayer support — continuous prayer, day after day. The needs are immense — physically, materially, and spiritually. Our God is all-powerful, but He works through His people. And we are those people. We must support one another, regardless of our denomination. God doesn’t care what denomination or organization we belong to. We are the body of Christ, and those on the front lines are our brothers and sisters! Let us continue to pray to the Lord of the harvest to open the doors, so that He may hasten the return of Christ! He is coming soon!
Your brother,
Dr. Bandis, servant of the Lord’s work. May God bless you.

In conclusion to part one of this update, I hardly need to ask you folks for continued prayer support. Dr. Bandis, Dr. Nibras, Pastor Abdelrahem and others make that request in every update. Thank you for hearing the cry from the hearts of all of the House of Blessing. Your financial support is also integral to everything that HOB does. It cannot be done without support.
The enemy continues attacking the work of the Lord and His servants. The attacks are becoming more and more violent — if that is even possible. A report I just received about the latest attack describes the absolute savagery of the enemies of the Gospel. It is not only physical though. Over the past months the HOB couriers have had great success in getting the Bibles and teaching booklets printed by HOB’s printing press delivered over the borders and distributed. This was not the case the other day. At one attempt at crossing, officials pulled both men out of their delivery truck, severely beat them and then set the truck and its contents on fire. The truck and materials were lost. But…God was not caught off guard. Thankfully, the men were not killed. They are now trying to locate a used truck to purchase so they can continue to deliver the materials as they are printed and packaged. Great care will be taken to avoid the same thing happening again. This is another reason your prayers are so vital. So, thank you all!
Forever in His Service,
Jake (aka Jack)
