Many voices today are warning of imminent catastrophic events. Is this just a matter of conspiracy theory or sensationalism? In this writing, I will offer some scientifically verifiable changes in our environment, as well as in the cosmos, that few are aware of; and these stunning events appear to be setting the stage for the Apocalypse described in the Book of Revelation. A possible scenario will be presented in Part Ten for the reader to ponder. You decide…

One of the disadvantages we humans have when we view history is our short lifespans. This limits our view, especially in light of the thousands of years that have passed since the creation of Adam. If the studies and mathematical computations of Biblical genealogy by theologian Bishop Ussher, are correct, the creation of Adam would have been in 4004 BC. Although the lifespan of humans before the Great Flood of Noah often reached nearly 1,000 years in length, the average life expectancy in our modern age is merely between seventy and eighty years.
Our view of the world is greatly affected by how many years we live. If our lifespan were only long enough to experience one season of the year — springtime for example, we would see everything through a “springtime” world view and wouldn’t know anything beyond. To us humans, world events may feel like they are unfolding at a snail’s pace or they may seem to fly by. In other words, someone who lives to be one thousand years old will likely see forty years as a relatively short period of time, whereas you and I would see it as half a lifetime.
It is important to understand that the fulfillment of Bible prophecies, whether a long time in coming, or fulfilled in a short space of time, are not based on our short lifespans. Prophecies are based on God’s sovereign timeline. However, that being said, the Bible has foretold that the speed at which prophecies would be fulfilled would escalate at the approach of the end of the age.
As we read and compare the details of Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 24, Luke 21, and Mark 13, and study the details alongside what the Apostle John was shown in Revelation 6, we see that all four accounts have to do with the things which were to come to pass after Jesus’ ascension. Previously in this series of articles, scriptural evidence has been presented to suggest that the opening of the first five Seals is not at the beginning of Daniel’s 70th Week — John’s Apocalypse, as has been traditionally taught, but rather, that the first five Seals were opened right after the ascension of Jesus from the Mount of Olives. The evidence is strong that the first five Seals opened as pre-tribulation events, or “birth pangs”, leading up to the Apocalypse itself. An increasing number of prophecy teachers are recognizing that this is historically proving to be true. Prophecy students are finding that this view answers some sticky questions that have not been satisfactorily answered in relation to the eschatological chronology timeline of events in the Scriptures.
It was the Apostle John who penned these words:
“Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour. 1 John 2:18 (emphasis mine)
The Apostles considered the Church Age “the last days.” When Jesus ascended after the crucifixion and resurrection, having paid the price for sin, He took His place at the right hand of the Father. The Day of Pentecost was the next major event and the “Last Days” were initiated. What transpired in the Throne Room of God when Jesus entered as “the Lamb that was slain” in Revelation 4-5 was previously discussed in detail in two articles: THE WORTHY ONE…THE LAMB OF GOD;
As Jesus prepared His disciples for His leaving, He warned them that the days ahead would be difficult:
“…all these are the beginnings of sorrows. Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.” Matthew 24:8-9
Jesus also commented about the difficult times ahead to the Church of Smyrna:
Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.” Revelation 2:10
The Scriptures speak of the trials, persecutions, and tribulations that we as followers of Christ will endure throughout our lifetime in a dark and fallen world, but this is not speaking of “The Tribulation.” “The Tribulation”, synonymous with “The Day of the LORD”, is a very specific time slot. Tribulations for the believers have gone on for nearly 2,000 years, but what is about to unfold in our generation is “The Tribulation” or “The Apocalypse”, and it will last seven years. The difference between the typical tribulations and trials of living in a fallen world and “The Great Tribulation” must be clearly distinguished in order for us to accurately understand the Biblical distinction between the two.
The Sixth Seal, which I am taking a bit more time with than any of the other Seals, is unique for a number of reasons, one being that it appears to be a time marker. The Sixth Seal is a powerful warning to the entire world that the Church Age — the Age of Grace, has come to an end and the arrival of what the prophet Joel called, “The Great and Terrible Day of the LORD.” This event, when it happens, will be an awesome, yet dreadful, event; an event that has embedded within it several loosely connected catastrophes which will likely unfold over a period of several days. The opening of the Sixth Seal is designed to shock the entire world into a recognition that something terrible; something unprecedented has just been announced! Every man, animal, bird, fish, and even insect will be affected when this happens!
If we examine past history, we can see that there have been an abundance of warning signs. A colossal event such as the opening of the Sixth Seal, will be an explosive event, for sure, but it won’t have come without precursors or ominous warnings. These precursors are coming in the form of earth changes in ever increasing intensity. Many environmentalists would like to put the blame on the human race for what is happening to Planet Earth, but the fact is, the human race is incapable of being responsible for the magnitude of what is now coming upon our world.
I have been following many earth changes for several years. Some of the changes we are witnessing today actually began at least 100-150 years ago. These changes have escalated and have become even more pronounced. Since the year 2000, scientific data shows that things have escalated to a troubling rate. Since 2010, however, it seems that earth changes in many categories have shifted into high gear and it is causing panic among many who have access to the scientific data. There is too much data to detail in this writing, but I will list a sampling. As you read the limited list below, ask yourself if these issues were caused by human error are they a consequence of man’s turning away from God. See the warnings below given long ago by God, the Creator of all things:
1 Hear the word of the LORD, you children of Israel, for the LORD brings a charge against the inhabitants of the land; There is no truth or mercy or knowledge of God in the land. 2 By swearing and lying, killing and stealing and committing adultery, they break all restraint, with bloodshed upon bloodshed. 3 Therefore the land will mourn; and everyone who dwells there will waste away with the beasts of the field and the birds of the air; even the fish of the sea will be taken away. Hosea 4:1-3
2 “I will utterly consume everything from the face of the land,” says the LORD; 3 “I will consume man and beast; I will consume the birds of the heavens, the fish of the sea, and the stumbling blocks along with the wicked. I will cut off man from the face of the land,” says the LORD. Zephaniah 1: 2-3
Now, for just a few examples. NOTE: Many of the statistics below were as of 2019.
- Billions of animals, birds, and fish have died, mostly for unknown reasons, especially since 2010.
- Insect numbers suggest that nearly 50% of all species are undergoing “dramatic rates of decline” around the world. (Insects provide food for feeding birds, bats and small mammals but probably the most important role is that they pollinate around 75% of the world’s crops, replenish soils, and keep pest numbers in check).
- The number of insects in Germany alone has dropped by 76% in the last 25 years, and summer insect life has dropped by 82%.
- Butterfly numbers reportedly have dropped by 86% in the United States.
- Bees, ants, and beetles are disappearing eight times faster than mammals, birds or reptiles. For example, half a billion bees died during just three months in four states in Brazil in 2019.
- Topsoil is being lost 10-40 times faster than it is being replenished by natural processes and since the mid-20th century, 30% of the world’s arable land has become unproductive due to erosion.
- Oceans are being super-heated from below the earth’s crust and are warming up so fast that scientists are now realizing that they have been absorbing 60% more heat than previously thought, especially in the last 25 years.
- Since 2005, the number of floods across the world have multiplied x15; extreme temperature events by x20, and wildfires at least x7.
- There are more active volcanoes every single day of each year than what used to be normal for an entire year. There are also now several super-volcanoes showing signs of major activity, including earth’s largest known on land super-volcano, Yellowstone. Additionally, the number of active volcanoes on the sea-floor outnumber those on land.
- Large earth cracks and sinkholes are becoming increasingly frequent all around the globe. One cause for this is said to be that planet Earth is expanding.
- Large numbers of new fault lines are being created all around the world, and the phenomenon is escalating exponentially.
- Large amounts of water are being expelled from under the earth’s mantle in from locations where no water should be escaping.
- Instrumentation shows that radiation on the surface of the planet had increased by 18% between the years 2015 and 2019. That percentage has increased dramatically since 2019. The radiation is much too strong to have come from our sun, but is caused by galactic rays originating from outside our Solar System.
- Earth’s magnetic pole, which was already moving at an accelerated rate of 15 km a year, is now moving at approximately 55 km a year and is not only speeding up but is moving in an erratic manner. The movement of the magnetic south pole is moving away from the physical South Pole even faster.
- Most of the planet’s 100 year, 500 year, and 1,000 year storm records have been shattered in the last handful of years, and weather patterns continue becoming even more erratic.
The above list, as stated earlier, is limited. I have in my files the yearly confirmed statistics of mass animal, fish, fowl, and insect deaths around the world for the last few years. The documented changes are much more widespread than most people are aware of. Among other things, scientists are keeping track of the jetstream which is becoming increasingly erratic in its movements. It is showing signs of a reverse in direction in the near future. The same can be said about the Gulf Stream. The Gulf Stream, which serves as an enormous conveyor belt affecting most of the weather patterns around the world, has been interrupted, and for the most part, is not functioning normally.
The cosmos is another area showing accelerating catastrophic changes. Most scientists are reluctant to admit to many of the changes they are observing because they don’t want to cause panic, or perhaps because they are under orders not to disclose the incoming data. Incidentally, this is information that the leadership of most industrialized nations have today. Some facts, however, are gradually being leaked to the public in the hope that governments don’t lose all credibility when these issues cannot be hidden any longer.
Extraordinary changes within our Solar System have been observed by scientists for a number of years. For those that may not be familiar with planetary basics, solar system consists of our sun, eight major planets, a number of dwarf planets, dozens of moons orbiting their respective planets, an inner and outer asteroid belt known as the Kuiper Belt and the Oort Cloud. The Kuiper Belt and the Oort Cloud contain untold trillions of comets, asteroids, meteors, and an unknown number of yet undiscovered planets. Our entire Solar System travels at a speed of 828 km, or 514 mph in an orbit within the Milky Way, our home galaxy. Astronomers say that our solar system is now traveling in a much more dangerous portion of the galaxy than has ever been observed. With the use of a variety of sophisticated telescopes and exploratory probes through which scientific data and photos are being received, scientists now have information that is not only disturbing, but apparently is the source of considerable panic and fear. Cosmic forces are being observed coming in our direction— some of which have already entered our solar system. Some of these are large heavenly bodies, others are very small, very fast-moving exotic cosmic particles. Much of what is being observed by scientists today has not been seen before.
One controversial subject has to do with “Planet X” and the system it is a part of. Rather than fully explain the controversy surrounding this planet, suffice it to say that this Planet X was recognized and openly discussed in the 1980’s. One of the most notable scientists who spent years researching Planet X was Dr. Robert Harrington, chief astronomer of the U.S. Naval Observatory. Unfortunately, before he could publish all of the data he had collected and documented, he died suddenly in January 1993 of an especially aggressive form of cancer. He was barely 51 years of age! Another well known astronomer, Carlos Munoz Ferrada, did extensive work on the subject and his theories and predictions concerning this interstellar interloper are still being read and studied today. He is known, not only for his stellar scientific research, but also for the accuracy of his scientific predictions. Dr. Ferrada’s name for Planet X was Hercobulus. Dr. Ferrada passed away in late 2001 at the age of 92.
NASA, the European Space Agency, and the Vatican’s top astronomers are carefully monitoring the cosmos and know quite well what is already in our solar system and what is on its way, including the so-called Planet X system. What is the Planet X system? It consists of our sun’s twin which has been referred to for centuries as Nemesis, the black sun. It has a system of planets and moons orbiting it, including Nibiru, which appears to be the outermost planet, and possibly the largest orbital of the system. Ancient writings have recorded the passing of this system before, and it has always caused catastrophes upon the Earth. According to those tracking the system, this time its pass will be closer to the earth than ever before, even during ancient times. Is it close? It appears so as the Earth is already entering a debris field that is multiplied millions of miles in depth and breadth. The Bible has a special name for the cosmic bowling ball that has been here before and is due to return again…”The Destroyer.”
This presents a very good reason why governments around the globe have spent enormous sums of money to build underground cities, massive tunnels, and ultra high-speed rail systems that connect underground locations on each continent. The elites of our world intend to survive the coming apocalypse. The Bible says they will not be successful.
My purpose in presenting these things is not to sensationalize or cause fear in any way, but rather to present a strong warning that the dark shadow of the Biblical Apocalypse is looming. The Bible, to date, has a 100% accuracy record in its foretelling of events. It will prove just as accurate in what is foretold to come upon our world at the end of the age. It is God who has let us know in advance what is coming upon the earth so that we are not caught off guard. You and I happen to be part of the generation that is witnessing it. Our atmosphere is already beginning to be bombarded with an increasing number of asteroids, meteorites, and other space rocks and debris. The number of asteroid near-misses is increasing as well — many of which NASA’s instruments did not detect in advance, or at least chose not to warn us earth-dwellers of their approach.
All of these things things are converging at the same time: Earth changes, bizarre weather patterns, mass deaths of animals, birds, fish, and insects, increasing catastrophic flooding around the globe, enormous fires burning millions of acres of forests, abnormal increase in ocean temperatures, a marked and documented escalation of earthquake and volcanic activity, violent changes on our sun including its chemical composition, a vast increase in exotic incoming cosmic particles bombarding the earth, and escalating numbers of asteroids, meteors, comets, fireballs, and assorted space debris entering the earth’s atmosphere with an increasing number making it through earth’s atmosphere and colliding with the surface of the earth. This is only the tip of the iceberg. Is this telling us anything??
Some people say this is all a mystery. Some say these are all natural die offs. Some people say that the cause is chemtrails. Some say this is caused by Fukushima. Some people say this is due to man’s pollution. And others say this is God’s judgment. Whatever the cause, we know one thing for certain: the Bible prophesied these things would happen. That means that the remedy for man is also in the Bible. The answer is in one Person, Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. God has provided a way of eternal life and He is not willing that any perish for eternity. Do you know Him? Are you a follower of the true Messiah?? Today is the day of salvation. Don’t wait until tomorrow!
Note what Jesus said as recorded in the Gospel of Luke:
31 “So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near. 32 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all things take place. 33 Heaven and earth may pass away but My words will by no means pass away. 34 But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life and that Day come on you unexpectedly. 35 For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.” Luke 21:31-36
How is one worthy? Once again, the answer is in the Bible.
9 If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame. Romans 10:9-11
