Many voices today are warning of catastrophic events imminent. Is this just a matter of conspiracy or sensationalism? In this article I will offer some scientifically verified changes in our environment as well as the cosmos that very few are aware of and these stunning events appear to be setting the stage for John the Revelator’s Apocalypse in the Book of Revelation. A possible scenario will be presented for the reader to ponder. You decide…

One of the disadvantages we have as humans is our short lifespan. Because of this we have a very limited view of history as it unfolds–at least in relation to the thousands of years which have passed since the creation of Adam. If the Biblical genealogy studies and the mathematical computations of venerated theologian, Bishop Ussher, are right, the creation of Adam would have been in 4004 BC. Although the lifespan of human beings before the great flood of Noah often reached to near a thousand years in length, the average life expectancy in our modern age is only somewhere between seventy and eighty.
As humans, our view of the world is greatly affected by how long we live. If our lifespan were only long enough for us to experience one season of the year, for example, springtime, we would see everything through a “springtime” world view and wouldn’t know anything more. As humans, historical events may unfold at an unprecedented pace, but our personal view of these changes will likely, at least partially, be defined by the length of our own personal lives. In other words, someone who lives to be one thousand years old will likely see forty years as a relatively short segment of time, whereas you and I would see it as half a lifetime.
The point I am making is that the fulfillment of Bible prophecies, whether a long time in coming, or only a short time, is not based on our short lifespans. Prophecies are based on God’s sovereign timeline. However, that being said, the Bible has foretold that the speed at which prophecies would be fulfilled would escalate as the end of the age approaches.
As we read and compare the details of Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 24, Luke 21, and Mark 13, and make a comparison with what the Apostle John was shown in Revelation 6, we see that all four accounts have to do with the things which were to come to pass after Jesus’ ascension. Traditionally, most eschatology teachers have taught that the seven seals, seven trumpets, and seven bowl judgments; will all be unleashed during the seven years of John the Revelator’s Apocalypse. Question: Is it possible that the Seals of Revelation 6 are not part of the judgments of The Great and Terrible Day of the LORD? Is it possible that the seals began to be opened as pre-tribulation events, “birth pangs”, leading up to the Apocalypse itself? I believe the scriptures show us that the first five seals have been open since the early days of the Church Age. There are today an increasing number of prophecy teachers beginning to see that this is historically proving to be true.
(Note: Because this view is non-traditional, a separate writing will be forthcoming with the theology behind it as well as the scriptural backing. The reader might find themselves surprised at how this answers some sticky questions that have not always had satisfactory answers offered.)
It was the Apostle John himself who said the words:
“Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour. 1 John 2:18
I believe the Scriptures themselves show that the original apostles considered the Church Age “the last days.” When Jesus ascended after the crucifixion and resurrection, the price for sin having been paid, He took His place at the right hand of the Father. The Day of Pentecost was the next major event and the “Last Days” began. In an additional writing we will spend some time on what transpired in Revelation 4-5 when Jesus entered the Throne Room of God as the Lamb that was Slain.” What was recorded for us in those two chapters also answers many questions.
As Jesus prepared his disciples for his leaving, he warned them that the days ahead would be difficult. This is what He said to them:
“…all these are the beginnings of sorrows. Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.” Matthew 24:8-9
Jesus also commented about the difficult times ahead to the Church of Smyrna:
“Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.” Revelation 2:10
The Scriptures speak of the trials, persecutions, and tribulations that we as followers of Christ will endure throughout our lifetime in a dark and fallen world, but this is not speaking of “THE tribulation.” “The Tribulation,” synonymous with The Day of the LORD, is a very specific time slot. Tribulations for the believers have gone on for nearly 2,000 years, but what is about to unfold in our generation is The Tribulation and it will last for seven years. The difference between the typical tribulations of living in a fallen world and The Great Tribulation must be clearly distinguished in order for us to accurately understand what the Bible has to say on the subject. The Biblical distinction between the two is very clear.
The Sixth Seal however, as we have written at some length previously, is a powerful time marker; a warning to the entire world that the Church Age, the Age of Grace, has come to an end and the arrival of what the prophet Joel called, The Great and Terrible Day of the LORD. This event, when it happens, will be an awesome, yet dreadful event; an event that has several loosely connected catastrophes within it, likely unfolding over a period of several days or more. The opening of the Sixth Seal is designed to shock the entire world into a recognition that something terrible; something unprecedented has just been announced! Every man, animal, bird, fish, and even insect will be affected when this happens!
If we examine past history we will see that the world has already had an abundance of signs leading up to this colossal event—especially in our generation. There have been an abundance of precursors, or “birth pains,” and they are coming with increasing intensity. Many environmentalists would like to put the blame on the human race for what is happening to planet Earth, but man is incapable of being responsible for the magnitude of what is now coming upon our world.
I have been following many of the earth changes for several years. Many of the changes we are witnessing today actually began at least 100-150 years ago. These earth changes however have escalated and have become even more pronounced. Since the year 2000, scientific data shows that things have escalated, now at a troubling rate. Since 2010 however, it seems that earth changes covering a number of categories, have shifted into high gear, and it is causing panic among those who have access to the scientific data. There are way too many of these changes to detail in this article, but I will mention just a few. As you read this very limited list below, ask yourself if these issues could possibly have been caused by the human race?
- Billions of animals, birds, and fish have died, mostly for still unknown reasons–especially since 2010
- Experts predict that nearly 70% of all animal and insect species will be extinct by 2020
- Insect numbers suggest that nearly 50% of all species are undergoing “dramatic rates of decline” around the world. (Insects provide food for feeding birds, bats and small mammals but probably the most important role is that they pollinate around 75% of the world’s crops, replenish soils, and keep pest numbers in check).
- The number of insects in Germany alone has dropped by 76% in the last 25 years, and summer insect life has dropped by 82%.
- Butterfly numbers reportedly have dropped by 86% in the United States.
- Bees, ants, and beetles are disappearing eight times faster than mammals, birds or reptiles.
- Topsoil is being lost 10-40 times faster than it is being replenished by natural processes and since the mid-20th Century, 30% of the world’s arable land has become unproductive due to erosion.
- Oceans are being super-heated from below the earth’s crust and are warming up so fast that scientists are now realizing that they have been absorbing 60% more heat than previously thought, especially in the last 25 years.
- Since 2005, the number of floods across the world have multiplied by 15 times, extreme temperature events by 20 times, and wildfires seven times.
- There are more active volcanoes each single day of each year than what used to be normal for an entire year. There are also now several super-volcanoes showing signs of major activity, including earth’s largest known above land super-volcano, Yellowstone.
- Large earth cracks and sinkholes are becoming frequent all around the globe. One cause for this is said to be that planet Earth is expanding.
- Large numbers of new fault lines are being created all around the world, and the phenomenon is escalating exponentially.
- Large amounts of water are being expelled from under the earth’s mantle–from locations where no water should be escaping.
- Instrumentation shows that radiation on the surface of the planet has increased by 18% in just the last three years.
- Earth’s magnetic north pole, which was already moving at an accelerated rate of 15 km a year, is now moving at 55 km a year and is not only speeding up but is moving in an erratic manner. The movement of the magnetic south pole is moving away from the physical South Pole even faster.
- All of the planet’s 100 year, 500 year, 1,000 year storm records have already been shattered, or soon will be, and weather patterns continue becoming even more erratic.
The above list hardly touches on all that is truly happening today. Among other things scientists are closely watching our jetstream which is acting abnormally. Some scientists are predicting that the jetstream is about to reverse course. It has happened to some extent in past history. Then there is the Gulf Stream, which works as an enormous conveyor belt, affecting most of the weather patterns around the world. It has been interrupted, and basically, for the most part, has stopped functioning normally.
I have no interest in getting into the raging political arguments about who is responsible for the changes in and on our planet, but one fact should be obvious to any thinking person: Although humans may have contributed in some ways to a few of these issues, it is preposterous to think man is powerful enough to effect the changes on our planet that we see unfolding today!
The limited list provided above does not touch on the drastic changes in the cosmos. Most scientists are reluctant to admit to most of the changes they are observing because they don’t want to cause panic—or because they have been ordered not to disclose the information—information incidentally, that the leadership of most industrialized nations have today. Some facts however, are gradually being leaked to the public so governments don’t lose all credibility when these issues cannot be hidden anymore.
For a number of years, scientists have noticed extraordinary changes within our solar system which consists of our sun, eight major planets, a number of dwarf planets, dozens of moons orbiting their respective planets, an inner and outer asteroid belt, the Kuiper Belt, and the Oort Cloud. The Kuiper Belt and Oort Cloud contain untold trillions of comets, asteroids, meteors, and an unknown number of yet undiscovered planets. Our entire solar system travels at a speed of 828 km / 514 mph in an orbit within the Milky Way, our home galaxy. Astronomers are saying that our solar system is now traveling in a much more dangerous portion of the galaxy than previously. With the use of a variety of sophisticated telescopes and exploratory probes through which scientific data and photos are being received, scientists now have information that is not only disturbing, but is apparently causing panic and fear. Cosmic forces are being observed coming in the direction of our solar system—some of which have already entered. Some of these are large heavenly bodies, others are very small, very fast moving exotic cosmic particles. Some of what scientists are observing are things they have never seen before!
My purpose in mentioning these things is not to sensationalize or be a fear-monger but rather to use the information as additional confirmation of the absolute truth of the Bible. It was God who let us know in advance what is going to come upon the earth at the end of the age, and we happen to be the generation that is witnessing it. Our atmosphere is beginning to be bombarded with an increasing number of asteroids, meteorites, and other space rocks and debris. There are a greater number of asteroid near misses than ever before—many of them that NASA’s instruments did not detect in advance of their sudden appearance.
The inner solar system also now has orbs of varying sizes that were not here before. There are astronomers who are now commenting that our solar system is beginning to get a bit crowded! Because they can only be seen mostly in the infrared part of the light spectrum, it is nearly impossible to see them with the naked eye. Scientists who are willing to take a chance and share a little of what they know, tell us that there are now a large number of dead star cores within our solar system that do not follow what we recognize as normal laws of physics or orbital rotation. There are a few physicists who are confirming that our sun has been greatly affected by these heavenly bodies and is showing many disturbing changes. Many of the planets are now being affected as well–including our home planet, Earth.
Scientists today are also aware that the atmosphere around the earth is coming under great pressure. It is being hit with powerful pulses; waves of energy and a continuous bombardment of tons of cosmic particles which hit our atmosphere at nearly the speed of light. This is all having a negative effect on many of the systems that have been built into the natural functioning of planet Earth by its Creator, keeping the planet’s delicate balance intact. The solar system’s heliosphere has always been strong enough to shield it from damaging particles coming in from the galaxy, but it has greatly weakened. It is the same story for the magnetosphere shielding the earth. What is happening now is that these powerful particles pass through atoms, removing the electrons, making them unstable but heavily positively charged. All that is left is the protons, making even non-volatile substances explosive. The particles being observed by scientists are helium, hydrogen, beta particles, positrons, gamma-rays, x-rays, and other galactic cosmic rays. These rays are severely charged and dangerous.
As these space particles build up in Earth’s ionosphere, the dynamics of our atmosphere is changed. Much of what is coming in is heavily laden with arsenic. As it comes into our atmosphere, it eventually reaches the surface of the earth, causing many of the problems that very few are aware of today. In the human body, arsenic accumulates only in one location–the brain. Arsenic is a major problem in that it is accumulative and it is responsible for changing a person’s personality. It is known to cause aggression; in fact, the aggression factor increases by 100%. Have we seen more aggression in society today? Another interesting fact is that scientific studies have shown that whenever there are plagues, a layer of arsenic and radiation have proven to be a factor. Arsenic is carcinogenic to humans and is known to cause cognitive dysfunction, neurological effects, hair loss, skin changes, lesions, abdominal pain, dry mouth, darkening of the skin in areas, tingling fingers, hands going to sleep while active, fatigue, gastrointestinal symptoms, dementia, paranoia, loss of short term memory, itching of the skin, strange rashes, consistent sore throat, digestive issues, and this is the short list. The Book of Revelation describes “Wormwood” and what it does. What we are already seeing today is the precursor to a wormwood effect…a poisoning.
Another problem with the particles coming in is that they are highly charged. As they make contact with Earth’s magnetosphere, the particles are being directed into the core of the earth through its north and south poles. The problem is that these particles are charging the core of the earth like a battery. The charge is accumulative and the core of the earth is becoming overcharged. Charged particles introduced into any substance causes a heating effect. Heat translates into movement; movement translates into shifting. The shifting also affects the magnetosphere and the surface of the earth. Pressure is building up inside. The crust of the earth is nearing the point where it can’t take the pressure, requiring a release. Release comes in the form of earthquakes and volcanism–great vulcanism! This is because the magma is heating up and becoming more fluid. Recent probes in the Atlantic Ocean revealed a crack in the bottom of the ocean where magma was witnessed moving…really moving. If this movement continues at this rate, one of the subterranean oceans that is becoming superheated is without any warning going to release topside! Because it’s so deep within the earth, it will shift the land masses. The US Navy is aware and is paying for all the research at the crack. There is presently a lot of nickel flowing out of the crack. With such signs, like this major crack in the Atlantic Ocean acting up and one of the largest volcanoes in the entire solar system located in the Pacific Ocean showing signs of waking up, is it really a stretch to see major earth changing issues immediately ahead?
Another problem with the space particles slamming into the atmosphere and changing the dynamics is the fact that the earth is surrounded with at least 1,100 working satellites and at least 3,400 that no longer are working. That however is not counting tens of thousands of articles of debris that are also in orbit. Then, of course, we have two space stations as well as other undisclosed items in orbit. Information that is not being disclosed is that the changing dynamics in our atmosphere is going to begin to cause a degrading of the orbit of everything that is today orbiting the earth. There is a real problem with any of the orbiting satellites or space junk coming down to the ground is the radiation coming with it. A very small amount of this radiation is enough to contaminate whole cities. Another problem is that these items could go off like a bomb if they were able to survive the trip to ground level. Because of this, there is a 24 hour watch for anything whatsoever that begins to lose altitude. These things are actually shot out of the sky but this is a very expensive thing to do. With as much as is up there, if the dynamics were to change as it is said that it will, there is no possible way to mitigate what will come about.
And, this is only the tip of the iceberg. Scientists know that the particles coming in are just the beginning of something much bigger. After the particles come the dust, then pebbles, after the pebbles come small rocks, and then larger rocks, etc. We are being warned of something much more than a meteor shower. We are being warned of a meteor storm. A meteor storm is like a violent hail storm, only with rocks and boulders, not ice chunks! Meteor storms are mentioned in the Bible as well.
Another strange phenomenon that people in many different locations around the world have been making note of for several years now are bizarre trumpet sounds in the atmosphere. The charged particles coming in from space come as raw power, and they can cause vibrations / sounds not heard before. There have also been mysterious explosions heard above ground and below ground. This may be one source of the sounds but probably not the only source. One cannot help wondering, is the earth itself groaning in agony as described by the Apostle Paul in the Book of Romans?
19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it in hope; 21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Romans 8:19-22
It is impossible in this article to even begin summarizing the dramatic changes we are witnessing in our generation. I have barely scratched the surface. The changes in the cosmos alone are enough to confirm that we are on the precipice of major, unprecedented events. We have pressure building up within the planet and we have great pressure building up above the planet’s surface. We are on the threshold of the Biblical Apocalypse prophesied at the end of the age, and it appears the players have been gathering for the “end of days drama!” I am sure there will be those who will think this is all nothing more than conspiracy talk or sensationalism. What if it is not? Scientists…those willing to talk, say it is for real.Those who truly know the facts admit that much of it has to do with the Planet X system. This has been the subject of much controversy but ancient historical sources describe just such a system having caused devastation to the earth before. There is a reason why the Bible speaks of a devastation coming to planet Earth at the end of the age and using the title, “The Destroyer.”
