I just got a call from our friend the founder of H.O.B. in Jerusalem. It was not a long call but I felt the need to share a quick update with you. As is the case with nearly all the calls I receive, there have been more new believers that have lost their lives due to sharing their new-found faith in Jesus. This, as you know, is a very dangerous thing to do in any Muslim area.
This however was not the main reason for his call this time though. He told me that Jerusalem had been targeted with a long-range missile out of the Gaza strip. Thank God it missed any populated area. Yesterday, Tel Aviv had two missiles arrive, also from the Gaza Strip. There were also reports of two Israeli planes having been hit, a small one, and also possibly an F-16 fighter jet. This has not been confirmed and so I don’t want to put this information out as confirmed information.
The point is this: The attacks on Israel have taken on a new intensity, and I do not believe that it will stop now until a full-fledged war is ignited. The fuse has already been lit. This will also likely lead to WWIII.
Our pastor friend has decided to stick closer to Jerusalem for a few days due to the fact that there are many widows and orphans who depend on his help. The Bible speaks much about helping those in need, especially widows and orphans–and especially the children of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Let’s do what we can.
As I have said before, I am not one to beg people for money for any cause, but if God speaks to you, please don’t ignore Him on this one. We are running out of time; war is imminent; the call for God’s remnant is imminent as well. Whatever you intend to do in the Name of the Lord, do it before that great shofar is blown!! Afterwards would have no value, I think you would agree.
