An urgent request was just put out for prayer concerning Pastor R and the struggles he has been having with his health. I know many of you immediately began earnestly taking him and his situation before the Lord at this critical time for him. I am thankful for a body of believers that take the Word of God literally and are interceding for him.
I just received word today that he is in a hospital now and has been examined. The doctor has told him that he is in need of emergency surgery. The diagnosis is that his cecum must be removed. This seems to be the answer to the many months of stomach pains he has had. It was a nagging problem that would never really go away. Thank the Lord that he was able to find out what was causing this.
I am asking that we all continue taking him before the Lord in prayer at this time. I know surgery is not something that he desires, nor wants. But, the problem is there and needs to be resolved. None of us can second-guess God in this matter. The question always comes up, wondering why God didn’t just step in and take care of this problem miraculously. I don’t know, nor does anyone else. God does miracles, and we’ve all seen them. But, sometimes God allows things to go a different route for His own purposes. Let’s trust Him in this matter.
Let’s be earnest in our intercession for our friend, Pastor R. He is one of God’s beloved apostles of the faith, and God’s will will be done. God is always in control.
Thank you all for your prayers, gifts to the ministry of HOB and your love for the Lord and His servants. God doesn’t miss a thing! Soon, we’ll all meet in His presence and worship Him face to face! God is good!
