Dear Readers:

I received a call this morning from Pastor R in Damascus, giving me details for the most recent developments in the Middle East, especially in relation to the work of the House of Blessing missionaries.

I have a new update that I am putting together, but have a special request just called in. In short, as most readers already know, Sister Mufidah and the seven widows that had been unable to get clear of an incoming jet, were badly injured when the ordinance was dropped. They had been at death’s door, but due to urgent prayers offered up from all around the world on their behalf, they were spared. They are however very weak and others have taken their places of ministry until they have the strength to go back to the front lines.

The urgent need is this: The women all lost a great deal of blood. Mufidah and the seven women all are in great need of at least two units of blood each. As regular readers will be aware of, the hospitals in the Aleppo / Idlib area have been hard hit, including at least one blood bank. HOB has however made contact with one clinic that will test the women for blood type. They have some blood available but it needs to be purchased. The cost is about $100.00 per unit, American dollars. I don’t know the normal cost of blood but in Syria, the need for blood is enormous, as well as hard to get,  as you can imagine.

I know many of you have given sacrificially, and HOB is not asking for anything that God does not ask for. If the continuing story of what God has done through HOB in the last 4 1/2 years has touched your heart and you would be part of this financial solution, this would be a very good time. But, please, only do what you can cheerfully do from your heart. No other way.

We have found that the quickest and easiest way from anywhere in the world is by using PayPal through my e-mail address. I am able to get it deposited and into HOB’s Stateside account within the day. It has proven quick and with less fees than any other method.

For the sake of time, I will save the rest of this last week’s HOB details to the new Mideast Update which will be out shortly.

I do want to thank everyone that has given so generously, whether large or small amounts. God has been faithful to multiply every effort from the heart made on behalf of today’s harvest of souls. I love reading the notes sent as well. God is good!! Soon we’ll all meet in the presence of the One who has made all this possible!

In His Continued Service,

Jake Geier
