Today’s update is the second portion of what was sent out 2/7/2026. I have received an additional report just this morning but will include it in an additional newsletter.

Today’s update is sharing Dr. Nibras’ personal reflections on the times we are living in and what part we, as believers and followers of Jesus, play. I hope you can take time to read his thoughts and meditate on what he has to share. It is very good, and very timely.

Peace be upon you, brother Jack, and all the followers of Jesus. I pray that God will inspire with His words and awaken us all from our slumber. I pray that everything I share with you will be based on the truths of his Word. I will be honest with you and with myself about the world we live in. You will find no comfort here unless you are convinced with certainty that Christ is risen from the dead and will return again.

The Christian life is a perplexing mystery. On the one hand, it is a great joy mixed with a constant anticipation and longing to see and experience God’s promises, which we believed in when we accepted His gift. The eloquent descriptions in Scripture of God’s manifest glory and the majesty of heaven, stir our hearts and fill us with great longing. To be surrounded by indescribable light, clothed in eternity, and perfected forever in God’s presence is beyond words. We Christians hope to be finally freed from all the anxieties and difficulties of life and to have no doubt in our faith. And we know, by faith, that this hope will be fulfilled. I know my destination, even though I haven’t seen it yet. I will see, with my own eyes, the glory of Christ.

On the other hand, this longing remains unquenched, day after day, week after week. We toil and suffer in the whirlwind of life. Diseases gnaw at us, our loved ones grow old, and our departed loved ones turn to dust. Our minds are filled with news of violence and premature death, and a world that has strayed far from Christian morality. Murderers and traitors abound, children are brutally murdered, and our faith is constantly mocked. Justice and salvation seem never to come. Amidst this death and corruption, we raise a hymn of praise to God, hoping from the depths of our hearts that this fleeting moment of happiness will become an everlasting memory. We close our eyes and hope to see God on His throne when we open them.

As if this dark world weren’t challenging enough, we seek to connect with like-minded believers, but we often find only those who wear a religious mask. We often feel distant from them because they don’t share their suffering with us. They don’t tell us who they really are or how they are doing. Outwardly, they seem like Christ Himself, but the Word of God they claim to believe in says their righteousness is nothing but a filthy garment. They can’t be a balm to anyone because they say they’ve never needed one. I find the kind of faith they express, to some extent, unrealistic. But I’ll tell you about my faith later. My faith compels me to pray for those I love who are far from God and still trapped in the darkness of error.

This faith, which is not my own, has enabled me, the weakest and most broken of people, to endure attacks and harsh criticism from within and outside the church, from those who mock God and His clear Word.

And this is the message: If you do not believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, that He died for your sins and rose from the dead, then you will die in your sins. For most of the living today, this death will not occur in this present age of grace. This is the generation that will witness the obvious return of Christ to earth, and those who believe in Him now will be saved years before that.

“A final rotation.”

These three words have weighed heavily on my heart. Soon the earth will rotate on its axis for the last time before everything changes. A final sunrise. A final night. And then there will be no going back. No more days of blissful ignorance. No more moments to ignore God. Everyone who remains will be forced to confront the Bible and the reality of a world where everyone is their own god. You have never known such darkness and terror.

Most people ignore bad news, even those who call themselves Christians. No one wants to hear pessimists. And when a warning is given, it is ignored. Worse still, the spiritual warnings given by many Christian leaders are fundamentally flawed, leading people to trust in themselves rather than in the One who is Salvation itself. These warnings leave you feeling lost, confused, and hopeless. But not with the warning I am about to give. There is a great hope and a clear solution for you and your loved ones, but first we must see the darkness of our current reality so that the light of hope can shine through. Reality is darker than we imagine, but the light is infinitely brighter. It is already piercing the darkness and is about to dispel it completely. The darkness will flee before the light.

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.  John 5:1

They say to the seers, “See no more visions!” and to the prophets, “Do not give us visions of what is true. Tell us pleasant things and prophesy illusions.”  Isaiah 30:10

This is the message of modern remedial moral unification (also known as modern progressive Christianity). It is also the message of the world. The world is thirsting for spiritual truth. People yearn for the triumph of good. But what they think is good is not. Do you want the truth if it means pain now? Or do you want falsehood if it means comfort now and greater pain later? The world is full of Esaus who would willingly lose everything just for a bowl of soup.

The world as we know it will end in fire. You have friends, family members, and colleagues who will be tormented in the Great Tribulation and consumed in the fire of God’s wrath in hell. Some will not repent now to escape, but will repent later after the church is lifted up. The repentant will die after the Rapture from starvation, beheading, or killed with swords. They will be saved by faith, just as we are, but their physical suffering will be far more intense.

But the unrepentant, as they are today, will continue to pursue their illusions as long as they live. Even after the veil is lifted and millions are taken directly to God’s throne, they will still seek any excuse to believe that ‘the cause’ is anything but the most logical explanation: an omnipotent, self-existent God who does what He promised in His book. Aliens or the Large Hadron Collider — even the punishment of the missing — will all be put forward as possible answers to what has transpired when the Church’s removal happens. Their excuses will reveal their hidden intentions: to prevent themselves from acknowledging that: #1- God is in control and they are not, and  #2- Their sins deserve punishment.

As Christians, we experience moments of joy; we laugh and sing. But overall, we feel broken and remorseful for the darkness that hangs over the world, and for the darkness that still lurks within us — in our bodies. We long to be freed from this world (which is passing away) and from bodies of sin and death.

As the book of Ecclesiastes says, there is a time for everything under heaven: “a time to weep, a time to laugh, a time to mourn, a time to dance…” I am experiencing moments of joy right now, great joy indeed, but now is my time to weep and mourn. I will be laughing and dancing in heaven.

Everyone desires everything their heart craves right now (and I am no exception), but it’s not that simple. I cannot stress enough that heaven is the absolute best. You cannot have everything you want, but you can have everything God has promised, things which, though you may not understand or feel them now, are far more delightful and desirable than anything you think you want from this dark world. Trust in God. Reflect on your aching, longing heart. Don’t run from reality. Things haven’t reached that point yet.

Dr. Nibras and our brothers in Christ, leaders and teachers of HOB, servants of the Lord.
