After visiting a young man in the hospital, who had been within seconds of losing his life, I was reminded of how tenuous life really is. In Psalm 90:10 we find these words:
“The days of our lives are seventy years; and if by reason of strength they are eighty years, yet their boast is only labor and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.”
My purpose is not to depress anyone, but rather to help us contemplate the value of the life that God has given us, and how delicate it is.
I read that the total number of heartbeats in a human lifetime, based on an average of about 72 heartbeats a minute and an average lifespan of 70-80 years, is over 100,000 times a day. This comes to nearly 38 million beats per year. If we do the math, the average human heart beats roughly 3 billion times, depending on individual circumstances. God created the heart so that it must keep beating, whether we are straining at a task or doing nothing. It keeps beating even when we are asleep. It keeps beating so that we can stay alive. The heart keeps beating whether we are wasting time, gossiping, coveting, hating, grieving, feeling hopeless, or even while involved in sinful actions. The heart fights to keep us alive!
The bottom line is that every moment of life is a miracle. Think about it, if our heart stops, our physical life is instantly over. So, what is the lesson in all this? We stop taking our life for granted. We stop wasting it, mistreating it — as something less than the miracle it is. We stop using it for anything less than God’s will. Our existence is a treasure that we have been entrusted with. We need to recognize every moment as a literal miracle — as if there were a heart beating behind it — because there is! We should live worthy of every moment we have been given! Note the words of the psalmist:
14I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well. 15My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. 16Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them. 17How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! Psalm 139:14-17
Now on to the House of Blessing…
The first message today was from Abdelrahem on April 26, 2026. In this email, he shared some powerful warnings he received by the Holy Spirit.
Brother Jack, peace be upon you and upon all the followers of Jesus. Truly, after our prayers, the elders and I here tell you that we have never seen the world in such a state as we are in now. If people think that persecution will be limited to Iran, Iraq, Syria, Azerbaijan, or Jordan against Christians, you are mistaken. It will now sweep into your lands. If we do not tell people what they need to hear, God will hold us accountable, and their blood will be on our hands. When we preach, we must preach urgently, reminding them of the necessity of repentance and turning to God. People need to be told that there are things happening right now that could change the nation overnight, and we cannot act as if everything is fine!
Politicians in many countries may be able to do that and make us believe that everything will be alright, but in the house of God, an alarm bell must sound, saying: “Attention, attention! Things are changing, and changing rapidly!” We must have preachers behind the pulpits giving a clear message: “Beware! Warning! Warning! Red light! Warning!”
People know that something is happening in the Middle East; in Iraq, Iran, and Syria. Even those who can’t read the Bible are trying to answer these questions, but their answers are completely wrong. God is telling preachers to get up and tell them! Tell them! It’s time to talk about what God is doing! People are searching for the Lord! People are searching for Christ, and if they don’t find Him in the church, where will they find Him? I tell you, we must return to the Lord’s Book and hold fast to it, for it is salvation. My brothers and sisters, the Lord’s coming is very near; in fact, it is imminent. The entire nation must awaken from its slumber. It is imminent. We are at the end of the age, and the proof is in the spiritual rebirth of thousands in the Middle East. O God, bear witness to the fact that I have delivered this message, for I bear a trust to proclaim that many people are far from the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ.
May the Lord bless you. We pray for you with all our hearts.
To those who have chosen Jesus as their Lord,
Your brother, the servant of the Lord,
Abdelrahem

The second message was also from Abdelrahem and was received the next day, on April 27, 2026. In this email, he shared some of the details concerning the commercial printer that the House of Blessing was able to purchase and install in an undisclosed underground location. I was also sent three photos to share with you so you have some idea of what the printer looks like that was purchased and has now been fully installed.
Peace be upon you, beloved of the Lord. Today I bring you news I have been dreaming of for some time, and not just my dream, but also the dream of my brother, Rashid. It is a great day for us to be proud, and for the Lord to be delighted with us for faithfully spreading His Word. All of this is thanks to the Lord, and for your support with the money the Lord has given us through you, which has touched your hearts. The sale of the building paid the bulk of what it cost for the commercial printer but there was still a balance of $35,000 plus $5,000 delivery from the shipping port. The Lord has provided us $15,000 of the money needed from Rabbi Sabazi and Shabo from their Jewish community in Azerbaijan, and I have taken out a loan of $25,000 so that the printer could be secured and delivered and not run up expensive storage fees. I pray that the Lord will speak to hearts so that we can now proceed with the process of mass printing of the desperately needed Bibles and teaching booklets.
Please understand, I am not pushing anyone, just letting folks know what the need is. If the Lord has spoken to folks to give, then let them give. The need is urgent. Today I had the first 100 Bibles printed from Sister Rina’s gift, and there will be another 100 from a gift sent from Pastor Mina. I have done all I can to complete the task the Lord has entrusted to me and my brothers. Now it is your turn to pray for the Lord’s blessings to spread His Gospel and establish a new generation to grow up on the foundations of God’s Word. There are many thousands waiting. I am very anxious for the blessings of printing the Bible through your efforts. Every word and page printed quenches the thirst of the thirsty with the water of life; no one will ever thirst again when they know their Gospel.
May the Lord bless you.
Your brother and servant is the Lord,
Abdelrahem

I want to thank you all! Many of you have faithfully prayed for and supported the ministry of the House of Blessing for many years, and only our Father knows the sacrifice it has been for many of you. Incidentally, God is very aware!
The problems with the original print shop came on quite suddenly and a change had to be made rather quickly. A special room was constructed with volunteers working day and night for several days to get it ready. The machine was brought by truck and unloaded and carried into the building and reassembled. Each section was extremely heavy and even with 9 men lifting, Abdelrahem said it took some miraculous help from on high. But God was faithful and the printer is up and running. The House of Blessing already has a supply of ink but needs to purchase paper in order to begin printing in earnest.
For anyone having questions or comments, please feel free to contact either of the email addresses below. Thank You!
Forever in His Service,
Jake (aka Jack)
