As I was watching troubling world events unfold these past few days, I could not help but think about the interactions between Jesus and His disciples when they were discussing the end of the age and His return. The disciples hung onto every word He said. In Matthew 24:42, He said: “Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.” In verse 44 of the same chapter He said: “Therefore, you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.” In chapter 25, the 13th verse, He said: “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.”

Many people today are experiencing an “end of the age” fatigue. The beginnings of much of the excitement within the Church world began as early as the 1960’s. In fact, there were predictions that Jesus could return in 1966. The excitement went to another level when Hal Lindsey’s book “The Late Great Planet Earth” was released. Over the past 50+ years, the anticipation and subsequent disappointments have come and gone. This has resulted in much of the “fatigue” and skepticism people are experiencing.

He IS coming, however, and we know it is soon. Even though we do not know the exact day or hour of His coming, Jesus’ instructions were to be ready! In the latter part of Matthew 24 and then in the parables of the ten virgins and the talents in chapter 25, He warned that there will be consequences to not being on high alert for His arrival. Jesus meant us to live in constant expectancy. 2 Timothy 4:8 teaches us that the Lord will even reward “the crown of righteousness…to all who have loved (read expected) His appearing.”

It is easy to ignore what is happening in the world and figure that all things will eventually work out and go back to normal. They will not. The end game is in play before our very eyes today and that should affect how we view life and our relationship with the Lord in the moments we have left. For that matter, not one of us has a guarantee of tomorrow. Unexpected things happen. Maranatha!

On to the House of Blessing…

Today’s first report was sent from Dr. Nibras on July 20, 2026

Peace be you and all who love Jesus. The pastor called to tell me about an extraordinary event concerning a man named Mullah Jarwanji. He had been the Sheikh of sheikhs for years. It has now been less than two weeks since the missionaries of the House of Blessing told him about the true God and His Son, Jesus Christ. After listening to them and learning about the power of Jesus’ blood, which cleanses from all sin and enables a living relationship with God, he became a follower of Jesus. After receiving discipleship and training. Brother Jarwanji began teaching others the truths and principles of the Bible, training them to carry on the great mission of evangelism. It soon became clear that God had given him a special anointing, and he became an influential preacher of the kingdom of God. From the day he believed, he dedicated his entire life to the message he received from the Lord. He also spent generously from his own money to meet the needs of the ministry.

A short while ago, the Spirit of God began to inspire him to return to a mosque near Arak where he had previously taught. He obeyed the Lord, contacted the relevant people, and was given permission to give a lecture. Brothers Suhail and Durgham, along with other leaders from the HOB fellowship, went to the mosque with Mullah Jarwanji to support him.

According to the report I received, at least two thousand men gathered in the mosque to listen to this man. He began by telling them that just over two weeks prior, he had come to believe in Jesus Christ, the true Messiah. As he shared his testimony, he told the assembled men that throughout his years as a Shiite sheikh and now a mullah, he had been teaching from a book filled with lies. After his conversion, he prayed day and  night for God to forgive him for what he had taught … but he didn’t know what was in the Bible, so he had been teaching out of ignorance. Now that he understood the wonders of the Bible, he felt compelled to share these timeless truths from this great book with everyone!

After he told his story and delivered his sermon, every man in the mosque wished to be prayed for and for his sins to be forgiven. To ensure that each man understood that genuine repentance was a prerequisite for the validity of the prayer of repentance, he took 100 men at a time and guided them in prayer and submission to Jesus Christ. After the prayer time with each group of 100 men, and with the help of the HOB brothers who accompanied him, the mosque was filled with the Spirit of God, so much so that more than 2,000 people shouted at the top of their lungs: “Glory to God, Hallelujah!”

Undoubtedly, the fervor was similar to that of the early church, when people from all walks of life found comfort, peace, and eternal tranquility in placing their lives in the hands of the only One who could set humanity free forever. Acts 67:7 provides this glimpse into the history of the early Church.

“Then the Word of God spread, and the number of disciples in Jerusalem increased greatly and a great number of priests came to obey the faith.”

Another passage from the Bible, found in Acts 8:4-8, provides a further example:

4Therefore those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the word. Then 5Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them. 6And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. 7For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed. 8And there was great joy in that city.

Brother Jack, this is nothing. There are many more coming. There are large numbers, and Pastor Abdelrahem will send some teachers to open classes there. We have allocated 200 of the teaching booklets that were sent for them to begin teaching. Please continue to pray for us. May the Lord bless you.

Your brother,

Dr. Nibras, servant of the Lord and His work.

************

A second report was sent just a day later, on July 21, 2026, also by Dr. Nibras.

Peace be with you, brother Jack. We are increasingly aware that not only are the events in the world intensifying, but so too is the work of reaping souls, which God is ensuring. I have repeatedly used Scripture during this time, pointing to how God’s prophets promised centuries ago two special outpourings of the Holy Spirit. One occurred on the day of Pentecost, enabling the church to carry Jesus’ message to the ends of the earth; the other will occur at the end time. This second outpouring of God’s Spirit is what we are witnessing today in many places around the world.

The great outpouring of the Holy Spirit’s power in Arak, Iran, continues and is growing. I received a phone call this morning informing me of how Sister Khoja is expanding the communion services initiated by the brothers in Arak following Mullah Jarwanji’s moving sermon, through which 2,000 new believers have already been brought into the Kingdom of God, and then more than 3,500 others. According to the latest report from Arak, the Gospel of Jesus’ death and resurrection has reached over 1,800 more people. The five missionaries sent by Pastor Abdelrahem to work with brother Jarwanji and his wife Khajo were able to pray with each of them, and then they too received Holy Communion. While they were participating in the service of Communion, many were healed, and all received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. What a great outpouring of faith is being witnessed in Arak!

The HOB missionaries in both Kurdistan and Iran are now participating in Holy Communion with all the new believers. The ingredients given to Sister Khajo by the wives of the missionary brothers Manfalouti and his wife Adla, Sheikh Sukan, Shweikar, Suhail and his wife Tasneem, Durgham and his wife Zahra, Abu Nawas, and Freiza are being used in these places, and God is performing great miracles wherever people receive communion. A large number of new believers are also being baptized by the Holy Spirit and given the signs mentioned in the Book of Acts. I believe it won’t be long before the Spirit of God overflows into all the places where the missionaries of the House of Blessing serve! As I write these lines, these people are declaring their allegiance to Jesus Christ, praising and worshipping the One who freed them from the stain of sin and from eternity without God.

About an hour after receiving my call, I received a second call from Pastor Abdelrahem. He was so excited he couldn’t contain his joy! He told me, in a style that combined speech and song, what I will now relate to you. He told me that Sister Khoja and the other sisters were preparing a meal for as many people as possible. While they were preparing this meal, dozens of Sister Khoja’s helpers walked back and forth, praying and asking God to multiply the food. The sisters began preparing this meal around 10:00 AM this morning, and so far, thousands of people have already eaten! The amazing thing is that the amount of food prepared is still plentiful! Now, as I write this report, they are still feeding thousands more! While the sisters continue to believe in God’s ability to multiply the food, they pray that He will provide enough to feed all 10,000 to 15,000 people. There is no reason to doubt that this will happen!

While people celebrated this meal, Abu Nuwas and Al-Manfaluti, referring to the Gospel of Luke, describe Jesus in the Temple. From the moment He attained human consciousness, Jesus must have had some knowledge that He was the Son of God and that His mission was to serve the Heavenly Father, where everything else became relative and secondary (Luke 2:33-52). Jesus demonstrated this during His pilgrimage to the Temple in Jerusalem, revealing His prophetic relationship with God. Matthew 12:17-21 recounts the story of the Son of God entering the Temple — His Father’s house. The Old Testament prophesied that when the Messiah came, He would come to the Temple and cleanse it; we find this in Malachi 3:11: “Behold, I send My Messenger, and He will prepare the way before Me.

After the teaching, there was great excitement in the crowd as they witnessed a miracle unfold before their eyes, the likes of which they have never seen before! People blow trumpets and shofars, play tambourines, sing, and dance! What an astonishing series of events is unfolding in the Middle East today! As these people find Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, they also receive Holy Communion — with the same ingredients the Holy Spirit revealed to Sister Khoja and her companions — and are healed and baptized by the Holy Spirit!

For those who may find these accounts difficult to believe, remember who we worship! Our God is the Creator, and nothing is impossible for him! What is a miracle to us is commonplace to him! We must place all our hope, trust, and faith in Him!

Hearing stories like these unfold, can you now understand why the Lord needs to remove the “Restrainer” from the earth before Satan can unleash the evil that will befall this planet during the end times? Although many of us see the Church as weak and feeble, on the whole, it is growing stronger — a great strength thanks to the recent outpouring of the Spirit promised in the Scriptures, so strong that even the gates of hell will not prevail against it! This is what is happening in the Middle East today!

As these miracles increase, the formation of new believers continues. Throughout the Middle East, tens of thousands of new disciples are learning about Jesus, the power of His blood, how to put their faith into practice, how to build a close relationship with him, and much more. These new believers are thirsting for the truth because they have never heard it before! They share copies of the Bible with 100 to 200 people each, striving to memorize as much as possible. We have so much to learn from our new brothers and sisters! We don’t have enough Bibles but the teachers and elders have been very diligent in emphasizing the necessity to memorize the Scriptures. This has caused great growth in these new believers.

Jesus multiplied the food to feed thousands, and the same thing is happening today! What a great honor to live in this time! We are privileged to participate in this great divine movement, if we choose to. God will call us to prayer, especially at certain times, to be a small part of His great work today.

Your brother, the servant of the Lord,

Dr. Nibras

*************

We truly are in the final moments of the age of grace. I heard someone make the comment, “Mercy does not shout forever, it merely steps aside.” We are at the point in time when mercy is about to step aside and let judgment do its work on this Christ-rejecting world. No matter what trials and tribulations we may have to endure, no matter the onslaught of what our fallen world has to offer in entertainment or other distractions, we cannot lose sight of the point in time our God has inserted us into. 1 Thessalonians 5:4 tells us that we, as followers of Jesus Christ, do not live in darkness that would hinder us from recognizing that the day of the Restrainer’s removal is at the door. If we are living in constant anticipation of that day, it won’t matter if it is one day, one week, or longer. Our lamps will be kept full of oil!

The House of Blessing missionaries are possibly even more aware than most of the imminent return of our Lord for His own. They face death every hour of the day and they see the violent attacks by the enemy on God’s people every day. As Dr. Nibras has said, “We are fast approaching the moment when our Father rises from His Throne and says, ‘ENOUGH!” The HOB missionaries live every moment with that anticipation in mind — as should we also.

Please continue to pray for the HOB community of believers scattered all across the Mideast. They depend on our prayer support and whatever finances the Lord provides goes mostly into printing Bibles and teaching / discipleship booklets. The stories in today’s update are a great example of the amazing things God is doing through the House of Blessing. Thank you all.

Forever in His Service,

Jake (aka Jack)
