In yesterday’s update I shared the first part of a story in which a number of the House of Blessing leaders were asked to go pray for a well respected Shiite sheikh by the name of Bareera who was in a coma. The story was left half told because I had not received any more information. I received a message from brother Omar this morning telling of his miraculous healing. I have transcribed it and shared it below. Enjoy!

Hello brother Jack, how are you? The Lord answered our prayers for Sheikh Bareera. Abdelrahem and the other esteemed sheikhs (brothers) prayed for him and then left. I stayed nearby. They are in a very safe place, under God’s protection. The man woke up, and when he started to open his eyes, a strange sound came from the heart monitor and the alarm. He is in a private intensive care unit. Brother Jack, the situation is strange, filled with both sadness and joy. The man explained that he heard us when we prayed for him. He also said there were angels in the room who told him to sleep until we were finished praying. He said he felt us praying for him. He had been in a coma for a month. He saw strange things, people suffering. His eyesight is a little weak, but his health is good. The people were ecstatic. They have been praying for him for a month, and he only woke up yesterday after the prayers. Oh God, we thank the Lord! They will hold a celebration for him tomorrow because of his recovery. The sheikhs with him wept and realized that the Gospel was the reason for the man’s healing. He asked to see those that prayed for him when he woke up. He said, “Where are they? Where are the followers of the Lord? Where are the guests? Bring them here! They are the beloved of the Lord.” He was referring to Abdelrahem, Aylout, Arshid, and Hael. The elder brothers are currently on a trip to Kurdistan, and God willing, Abdelrahem and the elders will return after completing the Lord’s mission of spreading the Gospel, as he wishes to visit the father and mother and those who believed in the story of the child. We will inform you, brother. Pray for us for safety and for the provision of the Gospel. May the Lord bless you.

I am sure there will be much more to this story as word gets around. There were over 500 people at the hospital that witnessed the miracle. Please pray for the brothers and also this sheikh and his followers. The man is very well known and it will likely cause a spiritual earthquake among the Iranian Shiite Muslim clerics.
