In 1 Thessalonians 5:2, Paul talks about the Day of the Lord, a time during which God will pour out His judgment against sin. Eventually the day of man will end, and the day of the Lord will begin. At the onset of the Apocalypse, God will once again intervene in human affairs and supernaturally exercise His direct ruling authority over the earth. This includes both a phase of wrath during the apocalypse and a restoration during the millennium and eternity. The thing that is difficult for us to comprehend is that we are right on the precipice of these events. Knowing what we know, how should we approach what little time we may have left? In Ephesians 6, we are encouraged to “Redeem the time, for the days are evil.” Indeed they are.
On to the House of Blessing. The first report was a cooperative effort with Dr. Nibras doing the actual writing for the other two men. The message from Abdelrahem, Omar, and Dr. Nibras was received on 2/9/2026.

My brother Jack, peace be upon you. This is indeed a continuation of a series of great events foretold by the prophets of the Old Testament thousands of years ago.
“This is what the Lord says — He who stretched out the heavens, who laid down the earth, who created the spirit of man within him: ‘I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness for all the peoples around it when they besiege Judah and Jerusalem. On that day I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all the peoples; anyone who tries to lift it will be cut in pieces, even though all the nations of the earth gather against it.’” Zechariah 12:1-3
Despite the sincerity of President Trump’s words, the situation in the Middle East will not improve. The conflict over Jerusalem will continue to escalate. Talk of peace will continue, and peace plans will be put forward for consideration, but ultimately, only the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, will bring true peace — not only to Jerusalem and the Middle East, but to the entire world.
The conflict surrounding Jerusalem today, which will intensify in the coming days, extends to encompass the entire Middle East. Although the missionaries of the House of Blessing don’t know the details of how the biblical prophecies around them are being fulfilled, they are acutely aware that God’s time for mercy is running out. With this understanding, they strive to bring the good news of God’s forgiveness, made possible by the blood of Jesus, to as many souls as possible. This is done sometimes through preaching, and other times by visiting tents or wherever people are staying during these difficult times.
With the arrival of the storm and low pressure system, the tents began to collapse under the wind and rain. Mattresses and clothing became soaked, and the missionaries found many opportunities to spread God’s love among the people in practical ways. This always opened the door to telling them about the true Christ, who was crucified and rose from the dead two thousand years ago for the sins of the world. Naturally, exposure to the elements causes many illnesses among the refugees. The sisters and missionaries spend long hours each day praying for the sick. In doing so, they rely entirely on God to protect them from contracting the illnesses that afflict those for whom they pray.
In addition to the numerous challenges of exposure to harsh weather conditions and shortages of food and drinking water, there is also the threat, particularly from the SDF (Syrian Democratic Forces, formed as a rebel alliance during the Syrian civil war and composed of primarily Kurdish, Arab, and Syrian/Syriac, as well as some smaller Armenian, Turkmen, and Chechen forces) and its allies. While the conflict between them and the legitimate government has largely ended, daily battles continue, especially in Idlib province (northern Syria). Wherever a potential target is identified, they are targeted without any regard for the civilian population. The Widow Sisterhood, Mufida, Hafiza, Ferial, along with other sisters, continue to provide treatment and healing to dozens of wounded people each week. Last week, they treated approximately 1,200 wounded individuals and then assisted them all in offering prayers of repentance.
My conversation with Omar and Pastor Abdelrahem this week was shorter than usual, so I don’t have many details, but I am pleased to report that all the courses at the HOB School of Ministry have been completed. To redcap, there were 340 students in Salamiyah (NW Syria) with Sheikh Abu Tammam and Abu Nibal; 235 in Mosul, Iraq; 450 women in Iran; 179 women in Azerbaijan; and 277 women in northern Syria. They have all received their graduation certificates and will be going forth to preach the gospel. These, as you know, join the hundreds of students who studied with teachers Omar, Sami, and three others, as well as hundreds more with Sister Sarah and the teachers who assisted her, who completed their courses in Damascus and its suburbs. Praise be to God!
Working as a “hunter of men” in hostile regions, such as the heart of the Muslim world, is completely different from graduating from a seminary in the West. In the West, graduates eagerly look forward to any opportunity God opens for them to serve. These graduates in the Middle East, however, will enter the lion’s den directly, going forth with unwavering faith. None of them receive a salary or support; all they have is what God provides, whether it be food, clothing, or even a Bible. The Bible is always scarce. It is difficult for those of us, whom God has blessed, to imagine ourselves in such circumstances. The least we can do is pray for our brothers and sisters who are not finding these circumstances easy.
Finally, I would like to draw your attention to a passage from the Bible that I have used before. Psalm 2 is a wonderful psalm, but today I will only apply its first three verses to our current topic.
“Why do the nations rebel, and the peoples plot for nothing? The kings of the earth set themselves up, and the rulers plot together against the Lord and against His anointed, saying, “Let us break their chains and throw off their cords.” Psalm 2:1-3
Today, we are living in the perilous times that the Apostle Paul warned Timothy about. The god of this world knows that his time is drawing to a close, and that those who choose to rebel against their Creator will find themselves under the control of a malevolent being who harbors a hatred for humanity that none of us can imagine. This diabolical hatred is directed especially at the Jewish people. God chose the Jewish people to be the means by which Christ would come into the world. These are the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in our time, whom Christ will save from the all-out attack launched by Satan with the combined armies of the world in the Valley of Megiddo. Satan intends to annihilate the people of God and erase all trace of them. Isn’t this what Adolf Hitler tried to do? Isn’t this what Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran, threatens? Isn’t this also the slogan of the radical Islamic groups spread throughout the world, especially those close to Israel, such as Hamas and Hezbollah? They all say that every memory of the Jewish people will be wiped from this world. But God is in conflict with them! The prophet Ezekiel gives us a description of God’s response to the threat facing Israel from Russia and its Islamic allies in our time. This is what was revealed to Ezekiel to write:
And it shall come to pass at that time when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” declares the Lord God, “that my anger will be revealed in my face, for I have spoken in my jealousy and the fire of my wrath…” Ezekiel 38:18-19
Dr. Nibras, Abdelrahem, and Omar, servants of the Lord
**************
The second message I received was based on comments by both Abdelrahem and Dr. Nibras. Once again, it was Dr. Nibras who authored the message. I received the message on 2/11/2026.
Peace be upon you, my brother Jack, and peace to all followers of Jesus. I tell you the truth, and I say this on my own behalf: my experience in preaching the Lord’s Book and His truthful words has shown me that the Lord’s coming is closer than I can imagine. My message to every clergyman and priest who knows His Book well is this: I have never seen anything like this situation we are in now. If you think that persecution will be limited to Iraq, Iran, Azerbaijan, Kurdistan, or Syria against Christians, and that Christians who were previously Sunni or Shia Muslim will not face it, you are mistaken. It is creeping into your countries now. If we do not tell people what they need to hear, God will hold us accountable, and their blood will be on our hands. When we preach, we must preach urgently, reminding them of the necessity of repentance and returning to God.
We must tell them as we stand before them: “There are things happening now that could change our nation overnight, and I cannot stand here in front of you as if everything is fine!” Politicians in the West, or any other country, might be able to ignore reality and make you believe everything will be alright, but in the house of God, an alarm bell must ring: “ Attention, attention, attention! Things are changing, and changing fast! We must have preachers behind their pulpits saying: “Pay attention! Warning! Warning! Red light! Warning!”
People know that something is happening in the Middle East, in Iraq, Iran, Damascus, and Azerbaijan. Even those who can’t read the Bible well are trying to answer these questions, but they are completely wrong, and God is saying to the preachers: “Get up and tell them! Tell them!” It’s time to talk about what God is doing! People are searching for the Lord! People are searching for Christ, and if they don’t find Him in the church, where will they find Him? The Day of the LORD is near!!
As for the House of Blessing, what is the most urgent need? The goal is to print and distribute as many copies of the Holy Bible as possible, along with teaching booklets. I ask for your prayers for me and for every servant that I serve. The Lord works day and night to serve the people through love for Jesus. Pastor Abdelrahem and I, Dr. Nibras, are simply servants and workers for the Lord. May the Lord bless you.
Your brother,
Dr. Nibras

In conclusion, the mass printing of Bibles and teaching booklets is continuing and after packaging is complete, they are transferred from the print shop for delivery. They are then transported all across the entire Mideast, from northwest Syria to the eastern border of Iran, and from the north in Azerbaijan and Kurdistan regions to the south in Basra, Iraq. The most recent delivery was of one thousand Bibles (primarily New Testaments) and 3,000 teaching booklets. Printing is, however, going on 24/7. Thousands of copies are being prepared for delivery to their many destinations. Please pray for those who carry the precious cargo! It is a very difficult and dangerous process.
According to information from Abdelrahem, Ma’touq, Al-Mulah, and the rest of the leadership, they need to secure as many copies of both Bibles and Teaching Booklets as possible before Ramadan and get them transported. They fear border closures and the increased security at the crossings. The need is for at least 1,000 more Bibles and 17,000 teaching booklets — which might be sufficient for the teaching needs. HOB’s leadership is trusting the Lord to supply from His bounty. It is He who is the Lord of the Harvest. The brothers asked me to send you their apologies for needing to request financial help. They are not accustomed to doing so, preferring rather to ask for prayer support. In American football terms, they believe the Church has already been given the two-minute warning for the end of the game.
As I finish today’s update, I am receiving another report that there has been another serious attack, this one involving Aylout Eban and those with him. I will share details as I get them. Please pray for him and those with him. For those who don’t know, Aylout is either 91 or 92.
If anyone has questions or comments, please feel free to contact through either of the email addresses below. Thank You.
Forever in His Service,
Jake (aka Jack)
