How often do we face impossible situations in our Christian walk? We can coast along with ease for a time and then all of a sudden run into a wall. Something unexpected comes along and we have no ability to solve it. We find many examples of impossible situations in the Gospels. On one occasion, Jesus asked Philip where they should buy bread to feed the crowd of thousands who had been listening to Jesus teach for the last three days. How was Philip going to solve this problem with human resources? Not possible! Too many people and not enough funds! But then Andrew brought a little boy with his meager lunch to Jesus. Why? Because this was Jesus, the One who had been blessing the crowd with miracle after miracle!

And this is the thing we need to recognize. Jesus’ power is not going to be demonstrated among people who are self-sufficient. We, just like Philip, forget Who it is that stands behind us. When was the last time you or I were confronted with an impossibility and had to face our own human limitations? Our world is being ravaged by hunger, disease, natural disasters, political upheavals, wars, and so much more. You and I don’t have the means to fix it all, but we seem to forget that we serve an Almighty God whom we can turn to. We don’t have to carry the load alone — in fact, we are not able to, and God knows this. Like Philip, we might say we don’t have the resources, and like Andrew in the Biblical narrative, we might show Jesus what we do have — even though it is hardly a drop in the bucket. One way or another we need to admit our insufficiency and then look to the sufficiency of our God. He, regardless how impossible it seems to us, already knows what He is going to do — although, we often find that His timing is not the same as ours. We just need to trust Him.

17Though the fig tree may not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines; though the labor of the olive may fail, and the fields yield no food; though the flock may be cut off from the fold, and there be no herd in the stalls — 18yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.  Habakkuk 3:17-18

On to the House of Blessing…

Today’s first report was received from Dr. Nibras on July 1, 2026.

Peace be with you, brother Jack, and with all the Lord’s beloved. It turns out that most of the area where Pastor Abdelrahem is serving doesn’t have sufficient cell phone coverage for him to make calls to me, or perhaps it’s too dangerous. I believe he tried to call me two or more times today, but the connection didn’t work. So, I finally managed to contact him in order to share some very important things about our time — things that, of course, affect everything the HOB missionaries do, and every true believer in Jesus Christ, the long-awaited Messiah.

I’ve spent a lot of time reflecting on the greatness of what God has accomplished through the House of Blessing over the past two years. What amazing manifestations of God’s presence with these dedicated HOB missionaries — many of them who are now in the presence of their Lord and Master, waiting for us to join them. What tragedies! What a heavy price paid by over two thousand missionaries, as well as volunteers and new believers who gave their lives to complete the great mission! What incredible miracles! What wonderful divine interventions from Almighty God to aid His faithful servants! What financial sacrifices people around the world have made — most of whom had no doubt that everything written in this joyful news about the Middle East is absolutely true. What a gathering of wonderful people God has brought together for this stage of His harvest in these crucial last days! Supporters of HOB are donating and praying, praying and praying even more!

Many may not remember that the Lord promised us several years ago that every copy of the Bible given out in the Middle East would bear fruit — fruitful fruit indeed! Isn’t this what we have seen happen? But, there has been a high price. Over two thousand martyrs from the House of Blessing have been faithful in their calling to reach hundreds of thousands of Muslims and Shiites who are today followers and worshippers of Jesus Christ, the long-awaited Messiah! These believers were spread out first throughout northern Jordan, and then Syria, Iraq, Kurdistan, Azerbaijan and Iran! Praise be to God! The statistics are not important in themselves, but every soul that has entered the Kingdom of God is what matters! This number is greater than anyone can imagine. All glory to Him who died and rose from the dead, and who sits at the right hand of the Father today!

I know the needs you are presented with are immense, but the number of believers in the Middle East today is far greater than many realize. Pastor Abdelrahem makes a special request, and he apologizes for asking — as only the Lord can instruct His righteous servants to give. We are in dire need of teaching booklets, Bibles, and a delivery truck. The truck is essential. We ask for your understanding and pardon, as the money belongs to the Lord, and we are entrusted with it. There is also a desperate need for more copies of the Bible, teaching booklets, as well as other supplies that HOB uses to help the suffering. God shows His love through the love His people show. We ask for your understanding and pardon, as the money belongs to the Lord, and we are entrusted with it. Thank you all.

In closing, I urge everyone to remember that the Lord’s return is imminent. We are in the very last moments of the last days. We are the generation that will be interrupted by the Great Trumpet Blast and the Voice of our God calling us into His presence. Knowing this, let us make worldly matters less important and focus on the work of God’s Kingdom and our imminent entry into the inheritance of God’s saints, which our Lord and Master has promised us.

May the Lord bless you. Your brother,

Dr. Nibras, servant of the Lord

Today’s second report also came from Dr. Nibras and was received on July 3, 2026.

Peace be upon you, my brother Jack. I spoke with Pastor Abdelrahem on the phone today and felt a great sense of relief. Despite his obvious exhaustion, he seemed like an inspired man, sharing news of the soul-conversions in spite of the war in northern Iran. I understand he has some health problems, but he refuses to complain. The devil once again tried to kill him but he failed! It is always inspiring to hear him praise and glorify our Lord instead of complaining. Here is a passage from the Acts of the Apostles:

19Then Jews from Antioch and Iconium came there; and having persuaded the multitudes, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing him to be dead. 20However, when the disciples gathered around him, he rose up and went into the city. And the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe.  Acts 14:19-20

The pastor’s specially trained men reached an additional 500 who wanted to join the Kingdom of God. Sister Savinaz also administered holy communion to about 2,000 people. As is often the case, many others also gathered in small groups to receive communion throughout the region. Their attendance is carefully hidden. The need for the secrecy of the Church there is far greater than anyone imagines!

Dr. Bandis, Sanjan, and Adel, who have been preaching in the north for a month, say that the evangelism effort is successful but the needs are also ever present.

In one of the latest attacks by extremists, the Gospel of Jesus Christ reached at least 5,700 additional souls. Hundreds of innocent civilians, however, lost their lives. But thanks to the dedication of the missionaries and the strength of the Lord who sustained them in the darkest of times, the harvest of souls was immense.

The evangelization movement initiated by Savinaz and supporters of Pastor Abdelrahem, has seen over 2,000 healings since the building where they met before the attack collapsed. The ministry has had to be relocated to a better site than the one in the attack area where it began. Savinaz now has a confirmed list of approximately 1,200 women who want to be taught by the HOB missionaries. What a miracle!

Eighty separate locations have now been set up where several hundred new believers will gather at each location to receive intensive teaching and training through the House of Blessing School of Ministry. Pastor Abdelrahem and the HOB leadership have assembled a team of 300 teachers and assistants who will oversee each class during their intensive training courses. When I spoke with him, he told me he had visited all the sisters and prayed for thousands of people. There is great enthusiasm among the believers, who are looking forward to what the Lord has prepared for each of them. Upon completion of their course, each new believer will join the evangelization team. These new believers recite the prayer of repentance and are baptized with water as the Scriptures detail. This is what God has promised.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”  Acts 1:8

38Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.  Acts 2:38-39

This is exactly what is happening in the Middle East today through the ministry of the HOB missionaries.

A long-awaited catastrophic regional war in the Middle East, perhaps the “Psalm 83 war” also called “Obadiah War,” is imminent — a war that will lead to the complete annihilation of Damascus, Syria, and the entire surrounding region. There are today signs of the war described in Ezekiel 38-39 war, also known as the “War of Gog and Magog” — which I believe will be World War III.  The approaching end of the age, the end of the “Days of the Gentiles,” and the beginning of the “Day of the Lord,” as described by many Old Testament prophets and detailed in the New Testament Book of Revelation, is unfolding before our very eyes today.

I am not exaggerating the events we are experiencing today, nor am I making a dramatic statement. I have no need for that! The Lord has blessed us with many events, signs, and prophecies that have been fulfilled, for us to anticipate. This is the first time in the history of the Church that all the signs that Jesus and the prophets warned us about are coming together at once. It is our responsibility, as believers in the Bible and followers of our Lord, to recognize these signs and the times we live in. Anticipating and recognizing these things was not merely a suggestion from our Lord, but a command! Yet, as was prophesied, there are many who mock —  even in most churches. We are supposed to recognize the times and seasons and prepare for the coming of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Most of those in churches today are oblivious, corrupt, deceived, or simply spiritually dead! I am certain that I am writing to those who are not like that!

I know this may seem offensive to some, but it is too late for me to worry about that. The time for worrying about hurting others’ feelings is over. Those who understand the message will listen attentively to the guidance of God’s Spirit and will continue on the path God has laid out for them. Our legacy is still being written, but not for much longer. We, as God’s people, are represented in the parable of the talents. How have we all obeyed the Lord’s command to make the most of what He has given us? Are all our efforts being consumed by our personal desires and whims? Are we so immersed in this world and its system that God has no authority over what we think is “ours”  — be it our talents, our goals, our dreams for the future, or even the money He has given us, which is, in reality, merely a loan? He is the One who provides for us. God has multiplied this harvest every time the HOB community has gone out and worked during these times, and I am certain it may be the greatest harvest of all. God does not want anyone to perish, and He will do everything in His power to reach everyone who chooses to listen to the voice of His Spirit. The end of this age is here, and the “grace” the world has experienced for the past two thousand years is about to end. The final seven years of humanity’s attempt to manage the planet without him are about to begin.

God has assigned angels to record every detail of our lives. The Book of Malachi speaks of a book of remembrance. The record of our final days on this earth is being written now. What would you want written in that book? We still have a chance to finish out our lives on the right path. Believe me, I think about this a lot these days!

As expected, the needs in the field of evangelism are immense. Tens of thousands of new believers are still without Gospels. Other basic supplies are almost nonexistent in many places — often in the very places where God has placed the HOB missionaries to serve. I don’t want to miss the opportunity to help those who serve in these places and have absolutely nothing — not even a Gospel or teaching booklet.

His servant,

Dr. Nibras

The third and last message I received for today’s Mideast Update was from Pastor Abdelrahem.

Peace be upon you brother Jack, and upon all the followers of Jesus Christ, the Savior and  Light of the world — whose light will illuminate the whole universe and bring peace with His coming. The HOB missionaries have been working as we were commanded, and that command came from the Lord. Through His grace and guidance, over the past few years, this work has spread from one middle eastern nation to another. The enemy of our souls has been attacking since the beginning of this project. The Lord commanded us to begin his ministry across borders from Jordan. Gospels were carried to and from Syria, Iraq, and Iran, and the missionaries began spreading the greatest story of all: the story of Jesus coming to earth to die for the sins of humanity. The message resonated deeply, and many began to respond with repentant prayer, asking Jesus to be the Lord of their lives. At the same time, the enemy began to attack, and lives were lost. Christianity is not accepted in any Muslim society, and according to the teachings of Islam, the unbeliever deserves nothing but torture and death in the name of Allah and his Messenger. I have told all the teachers, leaders, and elders what the New Testament has to say about this.

The New Testament repeatedly tells the same story, beginning at the start of the book of Acts after Pentecost. Immediately, the Spirit of God began to descend upon the hearts of those who heard the Apostle Peter’s sermon, and thousands began to accept Jesus Christ as the coming King. Here are some of Peter’s words that tell this story:

36 “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.” 37Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “men and brethren, what shall we do?” 38Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.”  Acts 2:36-39

If we continue reading this passage, we will learn about the first three thousand people who pledged to follow Jesus that day. But as soon as the Spirit of God began to work, Satan stirred. In Acts chapter 3, we find the astonishing miracle of the healing of the lame man, who then ran among a crowd of thousands, proclaiming the miracle he had witnessed. This prompted the religious leaders to immediately convene an emergency meeting to decide the fate of the apostles and the unfolding events. As a result, Peter and John were brought before the authorities and threatened.

As the early church grew exponentially, so did the persecution. Stephen was the first martyr, as recorded in Acts 7. Later, the apostle James was beheaded, and Peter was imprisoned. The early church suffered severe persecution for its faith in Jesus Christ, and this persecution continued for nearly two thousand years. The number of Christian martyrs in the 20th century has surpassed the number martyred from the Day of Pentecost until then. From 2000 to 2010, at least another million martyrs were added, and the numbers continue to rise beyond imagination annually!

About two years after the HOB organization crossed borders to begin preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, specifically in Iran, ISIS and other armed terrorist groups emerged, becoming one of the most persecuting and brutal organizations. While thousands were arriving to hear the message of the power of Jesus’ blood, the blood of hundreds of HOB missionaries and the new believers under their care was being spilled every year. Yet, the growth of the underground Church in the Middle East was astonishing!

Just so you know, Omar, Aylout Eban, Ma’touq, Shahbandar, and Mortada, along with Dr. Nibras and Dr. Bandis, have returned to the fields. The Lord has commanded them to harvest souls by becoming embedded in the funeral proceedings of Supreme Leader Khamenei. Please pray for their success. We thank the Lord that the printing of the pamphlets is effective and we ask the Lord of the harvest to provide financial support for their continued work. May the Lord bless you.

Your brother, servant of the Lord,

Abdelrahem

In conclusion, I want to thank everyone again for their prayers and support. These folks depend on both. The financial needs are always there and the attacks upon the missionaries and staff continue. I just found out this morning that brother Nasser was attacked a few days ago when he went into Jordan to help the staff at the printshop. He was shot at and his car was hit several times. I don’t know more details at this time but thank the Lord he was spared.

I have some details for you concerning supplies for the printing press. The photo shows a typical order of paper. Each of these orders can make 1000-1500 teaching booklets. 500 page New Testaments of course take more. Each stack of paper is $500-$600 depending on how many pages the specific teaching booklet happens to contain. HOB is able to get special prices with larger orders. The ink is expensive but the press is very efficient. The ink comes in a 5 liter bucket. The cost is about $300. An order for a 10 liter bucket is cheaper per liter if the funds are available. Hopefully this gives you an understanding of how the funds are spent. Considering the relatively small number of financial supporters from different locations around the world, God has blessed and multiplied beyond imagination. Another 10,000 booklets are ready for shipment as this update is sent out.

I have received two more messages and they include some stunning miracles that have come out of the evangelism efforts during the Ayatollah’s funeral processions. It will have to be included in another Mideast Update in a couple days. God is good!!

Forever in His Service,

Jake (aka Jack)
