As an introduction to today’s update I will share an excerpt from a devotional written by author Chris Tiegreen. It seems appropriate in light of the reports being received from the House of Blessing, especially this past year.
“What good shepherd in his right mind would send his sheep into a pack of wolves? And yet this is exactly what our Good Shepherd tells us. It is not just a suggestion, It is an emphatic command. “Go!”
Why would our Shepherd do this? Doesn’t He lead us beside still waters and into green pastures? Doesn’t He know how dangerous the wolves are? Of course He does. He, whose own body would not survive the wolf pack, knows exactly what He is commanding. Why then does He do it?
There can only be one answer. The plentiful harvest He has just mentioned is worth the cost of His lambs. The price of NOT going into the wolves is substantially more than the cost of going, even if the lambs are sacrificed there. Our Savior is the same Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine behind for the one, and He bids His disciples to have the same all-or-nothing spirit. These lambs do, in fact, return to Him safely after this trip into the wolf pack, but there will be times in the future when they won’t. And He knows this.
He who was sent into a ravenous world to die sends His own lambs into the midst of wolves. As the Father has sent Him, so He sends us. But not alone. Be encouraged. This Shepherd doesn’t send us without a promise — ‘I am with you always’ Matthew 28:20”

The message below was received from Dr. Nibras on 1/29/2026
Peace be upon you, my brother Jack. As I along with the HOB elders and mullahs see things, the warnings that Jesus gave to His disciples in Matthew 24 and Luke 21 describe in great detail what can be expected in these days. There are of course many other passages in the Bible that describe the state of the world in the days just before the return of Christ when He will take control of this fallen planet. Among them is a familiar passage in 2 Timothy, chapter 3, which reads:
“Be aware of this, that in the last days there will come times of trouble. People will be self-loving, covetous, boastful, arrogant, blasphemous, disobedient to their parents, un grateful, impious, merciless, unforgiving, slanderous, unrestrained, cruel, hateful, unfaithful, reckless, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. Stay away from such people.” 2 Timothy 3:1-5
The Apostle Paul had previously written to his spiritual son Timothy:
“The Spirit says plainly that in the last days some will turn away from the faith, listening to deceitful spirits and demonic teachings. They will speak lies hypocritically, searing their consciences with red-hot irons. They will forbid marriage and command abstinence from foods that Gold created to be eaten with thanksgiving by believers who know the truth…” 1 Timothy 4:1-3
Again, Jesus warned that this would be the state of the world at the end of time. However, He said that the gates of hell would not prevail against those who would be covered by the incomparable blood of Jesus and strengthened by the Holy Spirit. The commandment given to the church before Jesus’ ascension to the Father after his death and resurrection remains valid to this day. This “great commandment” is found in Mark 16, and reads as follows:
“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” Mark 16:15-18
True believers and followers of Jesus Christ have been diligently carrying out this message throughout the world, including ourselves.
In the Iran region, Omar, Shahbandar, and Morteda spend every day of the week teaching thousands of new believers, who were initially converted when a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit began through them. Each one receives instruction in the fundamentals of the Bible. Due to the scarcity of Bible copies, 800 copies of the Bible were distributed among 50,000 people, along with 4,000 teaching booklets. They rely heavily on readily available and widely photocopied educational materials which we provide, and this method has proven effective. As these new believers learn, they are able to share the Gospel with their relatives and friends. We pray that schools will be opened for their children. These will of necessity be carefully hidden.
Sister Sharifa continues to receive support and encouragement to share her wonderful witness, which God has blessed her with. She has ministered to 500 people in the past few days again, and the witness of Jesus Christ in her life has reached many, bringing comfort and peace to many. For Muslims, this message of reassurance and forgiveness is entirely new. It brings great peace and joy to those who respond to God’s mercy, pray the prayer of repentance, and surrender themselves to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
Mufida, Hafiza, Ferial, and Labiba continue their ministry in the way God has blessed them. Together, they brought healing to 800 severely wounded people. More importantly, these women dedicated themselves to Jesus Christ. The other missionaries from the Widow Sisterhood continue their work around the clock, seven days a week. Most of their work isn’t detailed in these reports, so I can only mention the most remarkable.
Among the most consistently special moments are the wonderful holy Communion services held daily in different locations. I learned that the two main groups meet in multiple locations throughout the week in northern Syria and Iraq. A group of 925 people met with Kafaya in northeastern Syria last week, and another group of 1,800 people met with Fatima in central Iraq. In southern Iraq, Yara and Tasnim also met with 780 people. What a wonderful experience to share in any of these special times with such special people!
In Iraq, the Sahatori brothers, Sheikh Abu Tamam and Abu Nibal, along with their missionaries, reached 2,500 people who surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ and refused to go to Mecca for the Umrah pilgrimage.
In Mosul, Erbil, and Dahuk, where thousands have endured extremely harsh conditions for a long time, the situation remains very difficult due to the enemies of the Lord. Al-Awiwi, al-Sudani, Zalatimo, Jafaar, and several missionaries from the House of Blessing working with them reached another 750 people who wanted to surrender their lives and eternal destiny to Jesus.
It is often said of believers everywhere that they overflow with joy. Whatever their circumstances, they experience the joy of the Lord! This is what I heard from all the brothers and Abdelrahem.
He is currently working in the field, preparing everything for the large evangelization campaign during Ramadan. Arrangements have already begun, and supplies are being collected for distribution to the various areas where the missionaries from the House of Blessing will be serving. Abdelrahem and the other sheikhs with him also give some lessons, but they don’t try to overexert themselves.
Ramadan begins on February 18 and continues until March 19, 2026. There is a great need for prayer, and the need for financial support is also urgent and significant. Let us pray that God will bless Christians around the world who are aware of this ministry with an abundance of prayers. And let us pray that God will provide them with every dollar they need. This is not about building a ministry; it is about the souls. The fields are white and must be harvested.

I received a second report from Dr. Nibras the very next day, 1/30/2026.
My brother Jack, most of the provinces near Isfahan, where mosques are filled with believers who have chosen Christ as their Lord, have been attacked. They were severely beaten, and the roads were blocked because they have come to realize that multiplied thousands of people have converted to Christianity. I thank God for the safety of Omar, Shahbandar, Morteda, and the sheikhs and mullahs that were ministering with them.
More than 20,000 people attended the classes during the past two weeks, and many teaching booklets and Bibles given to them were confiscated. I will tell you more but allow me to say this first: I am conveying this news to you with a broken heart for the lovers of Jesus and the sacrifice they are making by walking through mountainous areas and the open air just to receive lessons about Jesus. Please pray for them, as the whole world is going through a critical time today.
We know from the prophecies of the Holy Bible that preparations are accelerating for the Second Coming of Christ — this time as the KING of Kings and LORD of Lords. It is not the suffering Christ that will come this time as He did two thousand years ago. But before He comes to dominate this fallen planet, He will remove the true Church, which, through the miraculous power of the Holy Spirit working within it, is the “Restrainer” mentioned in 2 Thessalonians 2:6-7. When the Restrainer is removed, evil will be unleashed in a way this world has never seen before. This wicked world will receive the punishment God warned of thousands of years ago. During this time, God will reveal to the Jewish people the truth about their Messiah, who He was and who He is today.
I believe many momentous events may unfold in the coming weeks and months. God will allow a profound upheaval in the hearts of many before He unleashes His full wrath upon the world. Perhaps it is precisely in these troubled and chaotic times. Will we be among those who bury their heads under their pillows and pretend everything is fine? Or will we be among those who struggle with God, as Jacob did, wanting more of what he had already experienced? I pray that you will be among those who strive to attain all that God has prepared for His faithful followers in these crucial days. Amen.
Please pray…pray with unprecedented focus and fervor for the missionaries of the House of Blessing, their leadership, Pastor Abdelrahem, and the elders with him. I know I have heard Pastor Rashid say year after year that every Ramadan could be the last before the door closes. And I will say it again. This could be the last Ramadan before the 70th week of Daniel’s prophecy begins. Whatever we do in the Lord’s name, it is best to do it now. Next week or next month may be too late. What if the Lord calls us to Him later this year? I would like to say, Hallelujah, but what legacy will I leave behind in my life/journey with God, and how have I used that journey for the Kingdom of God? We must all think about that day… not next week. God has given us time, but the door is about to close.
I will conclude with the promise in Revelation 3:9-10:
“Because you have kept my commandment by persevering, I will also keep you from the hour of tribulation that will come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth. ‘Look, I am coming quickly! Hold fast to what you have, so that no one takes your crown.’”

Many of you received from me a special request for prayer a couple days ago referring to some of the things Dr. Nibras mentioned in this second report. I mentioned that the confiscation of Bibles and teaching booklets reminded me of something the Lord promised my wife and me fourteen years ago, which I shared with Pastor Rashid. The Lord said that “every Bible sent into the field would bear fruit; in fact, MUCH fruit”. This means, even those bibles that were confiscated will bear fruit. God has His ways of accomplishing His purposes in spite of the attacks of the enemy. The fallen one has no power over God’s Word, nor does he have any power over the Holy Spirit. Count on it, and take it to the Lord in prayer. HE is the miracle worker, and nothing is out of the realm of possibility for Him! Over the years we have even heard testimonies of people finding teaching materials laying in the dust; they were picked up, causing people to search out HOB missionaries to help them understand what they were reading. God is good and He is incredibly merciful to the one who searches for Him! He is not willing for any to perish.
As Dr. Nibras made clear — as would brother Abdelrahem, Omar, and the rest of the leadership of the House of Blessing, the need is enormous right now. Time is running out. HOB’s print shop is doing everything they can to get Bibles and teaching booklets printed for use during the month of Ramadan. During the month when Muslims are fasting and praying to Allah, it has repeatedly proven to be a time when Messiah Jesus has interrupted tens of thousands of Muslim prayers in order to reveal Himself for Who He really is. It will happen again this year. Watch and see!
I have just received new information which needs to be shared but in order not to make this update any longer than it is, I will write another update which will be out in a day or two at the latest. Please do pray for the 20,000+ new believers who have been forced out into the open without provisions, shelter, blankets, or anything. Omar sent a message that that 1,368 men have died, most by freezing to death. The Iranian regime is intent on totally destroying any semblance of Christianity in the nation. Please pray! It could be us!
For those who have questions about the House of Blessing or how to help with the enormous needs, please feel free to contact either of the email addresses below. Thank You.
Forever in His Service,
Jake (aka Jack)

God is so amazing and doing a great and marvelous work through his laborers. God bless all of you. I speak the protection of Psalms 91 overall of those working to win souls!
