In light of the extraordinary miracles shared in the second half of today’s update, I thought I’d share a thought or two about a promise Jesus made: “…I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.” (John 14:12). We have been taught in the Book of Acts that the promises made to the early Church are just as good for the Church of the final generation. We have all been put on this earth, and in the location where we find ourselves, by the sovereignty of God. We are part of His strategic moves!
God orchestrates His plans with precision. He is not only sovereign, but He is detailed and deliberate. He knows who He will use, and when and where He will use them. So intentional is God in carrying out His purposes that we were “created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand” (Ephesians 2:10). “All our days were written, every one of them…when as yet there was none of them” (Psalm 139:16). This makes every one of us specially appointed. Our place in God’s timeline is by His design. What an honor! What was it that Mordecai said to Esther? “Who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
On to the House of Blessing and a report from Dr. Nibras:
Greetings, brother Jack, and greetings to the loved ones of Jesus. It seems the stories of misery and death never end. I cannot even imagine the plight of those who find no way out of this constant turmoil and chaos. It must be like a journey through an endless hell. What is happening in the Middle East is occurring to varying degrees all over the world. There are demonstrations, riots, rebellions, political coups, civil wars, threats of war, rumors of conflict and military movements and troop buildups everywhere. These are just a few examples of what Jesus told us to watch for and recognize as signs that we are in the end times.
There is a remnant of true believers across the globe praying the final words of Revelation 22:20: “Come, Lord Jesus!” This is the prayer echoed by the missionaries of the House of Blessing. In the Middle East, Syria has been witnessing a brutal civil war since March 15th, 2011. As the end of 2026 approaches, the chaos and destruction persist. The current regime is even more brutal than Assad’s. It seeks only money, and hides behind the Islamic faith though in reality they are not Muslims following the religion of Muhammad, which is a slanderous lie. They worship money and their hearts are filled with cruelty because they do not know the love of Jesus.
While the armies of various nations continue to expand their influence and vie for power and control, not only in Syria, but in other Middle Eastern countries, it is the innocent who suffer the most. For this reason, missionaries and volunteers at the House of Blessing continue to risk their lives. Their mission is to serve the poor, the naked, the oppressed, the hungry, the sick, the wounded and the dying — both physically and spiritually.
Sisters, Safinaz and Ikhlas, along with others of the “WIdow Sisterhood,” are working in various Iranian provinces, exerting tremendous effort to care for a large number of critically injured people. It is reported that thousands are in need of assistance and they are doing all they can.
Yet, only God can meet this immense need. Nevertheless, amidst all this chaos, hundreds continue to gather round the clock to celebrate Holy Communion and experience the power of the Holy Spirit who revives, encourages, heals, and empowers them as they worship the Lord.
Similar work is being carried out in Saudi Arabia by Sister Ratiba and her fellow sisters. Across the Middle East, leaders of the House of Blessing missionary organization continue their efforts to reach the lost, pray for all lining up for prayer, and teach and train new believers. A large number of men, formerly Muslims, who have now become followers of Christ, continue to mentor at least 100 people each, particularly in Saudi Arabia.
As winter sets in, the need for shelter intensifies. In many areas, the situation threatens to become a humanitarian disaster unless people find a way to protect themselves from the harsh elements.
Another issue facing leaders such as Omar, Shahbandar, and Mortada, and others in Saudi Arabia, as well as others in regions like Iran and Syria, is the deep fear of a wider war. This is a fear that is easily understood. Yet, this also provides a solid foundation for sharing the only good news these people are ever likely to hear: God’s love for them, the free gift of the forgiveness of sins, and the promised inheritance of eternal life. It is a message they long to hear, and they easily accept the truths of the Good News Gospel. However, risks always remain where there is no shortage of enemies of God and His servants.
In closing this brief update, we ask you to continue praying for the HOB missionaries and the whole House of Blessing community of believers. They need your prayers and financial support to continue helping those in need. Please keep praying for their safety, the provision of their needs, and their encouragement. Pray that they receive strength and patience and of course, guidance of the Holy Spirit to reach souls — many souls. It is God’s will to answer such prayers offered to Him in sincerity.
All the members of the House of Blessing Church, Pastor Abdelrahem, the leaders, teachers, missionaries, volunteers and the entire congregation extend their greetings and deep gratitude for your prayers and support. We will soon see what God has accomplished through us all when we gather before the throne of our Christ and King. We will be amazed at what God has done!!
Incidentally, I have just received news from Omar about a great miracle that has taken place in northern Najran. Sheikh Abu Islam, together with Omar, Shahbandar, and Mortada, has been instrumental in guiding many more souls — in fact, over 2,000 people — to the feet of Jesus. The first miracle happened when they prayed over a female camel outside Sheikh Al-Kanakri’s mosque. They milked her and the milk was sufficient for all 2,000 people to drink! It simply did not run out! Recognizing this as the work of the Lord, they could not help believing in the reality of this miracle.
The second miracle happened when they decided to go out into the desert where they continued with their prayers, desiring to baptize this large crowd. As they earnestly prayed, God met them, and water was again brought forth right out of the dry ground! Now the baptism of these 2000 people is underway. What a miracle! All of this is from Jesus.
I will keep you updated with details, brother Jack.
Your brother, a servant of the Lord,
Doctor Nibras
************
It was only a couple days after I received the report from Dr. Nibras that I received some more information by my Telegram connection with HOB about this same female camel. Pastor Abdelrahem and some brothers traveled down to the region and more thousands kept coming to his location. While he was ministering to the people, he had an encounter with this same camel. The Lord spoke to him and the brothers who were with him to lay hands on the camel and pray. The camel again produced, but it was different this time from before. Abdelrahem asked the people to ask the Lord for what it was they wished to eat. The brothers then began to hand out cups of milk. When the people drank the milk, the cup of milk had become like a meal, just as the people had asked the Lord for.
Some people might have a hard time believing in such miracles, but why would the Almighty God, in His sovereignty, not do such a thing if He chose to? He is the Lord of creation; He set the laws of nature, and He can bend them however He decides, whenever He decides, and for whomever He decides! I heard a good definition of a miracle which is particularly applicable to the stories above:
“A miracle is an event brought about by the power of God that is a contemporary exception to the ordinary course of nature for the purpose of showing that God is active in history.”
Thank you all for your prayers and support for the House of Blessing. They are going full-speed while the harvest of souls is ripe. We must do the same. Whatever we are going to do for the sake of God’s kingdom, we should do it now. The world situation is deteriorating very quickly. Jesus’ return is very, very near!
Forever in His Service,
Jake (aka Jack)
