Today’s update is shorter than most. Below are the three latest emails I have received from Dr. Nibras. Each is quite short but provides basic details of a series of events spanning a couple days in time. The report below, which I received on October 14, 2026, is the account of a very unusual miracle involving Pastor Abdelrahem, the brothers with him, and a sheikh by the name of Al-Sha’bani.

***********

Greetings, Brother Jack and peace to the loved ones of Jesus:

Abdelrahem arrived at Sheikh Al-Sha’bani’s mosque, accompanied by sheikhs Hayel, Arshid. They were also joined by sheikhs Farhoud and Bandar. Sheikh Al Sha’bani suffered from a disability in his legs and could not walk.

Before a massive crowd of about 700 people in the mosque, Abdelrahem, assisted by sheiks Hayel and Arshad, began a special treatment (as the Holy Spirit directed). A few glass tea cups were placed on the Sheikh’s back with some small pieces of paper in them as he lay on his stomach. After the brothers prayed, Abdelrahem lit the contents of the cups on fire. As everyone watched, blood began to fill the cups. About that time, Sheikh Al-Sha’bani passed out, but Abdelrahem told the others to leave him be, promising that he would get up soon on his own. After a few minutes, the Sheikh did in fact come back to himself and proceeded to stand up and walk on his own two legs, despite having previously been unable to do so. The people, of course, marveled at his healing. The Gospel was proclaimed and the response from the crowd was shouts of hallelujah! A supernatural rebirth occurs when one follows the true Jesus and believes in Him as Lord. This is what has happened with this crowd.

Brother Jack, we are approaching the end! The Lord’s coming is closer than you can imagine. I will keep you updated.

The way the healing happened to Sheikh Al-Sha’bani in the above account may be a challenge for some folks to accept because the means to the end were strange. But, didn’t Jesus do some strange things from time to time to facilitate healing? A prime example was when Jesus took some dirt from the ground, spit into it, and after making mud out of it, put it onto a blind man’s eyes and told him to go wash. Was it strange? Very much so!

Although we don’t really know why Jesus chose this method to heal the man, we do know that Jesus didn’t choose an odd method just for the sake of making it look weird. The HOB missionaries have often been used in healings in which they were instructed by the Holy Spirit to use very strange methods, but the proof was always in the results. This was certainly the case with Sheikh Al-Sha’bani. From what I was told, the man had had toxins in his blood and the Lord used this visual means of cleansing his blood. He was also set free of a spirit of infirmity that had crippled the man’s back so his legs wouldn’t support him. Al-Sha’bani has accepted Christ as his Savior and has repented of all the lies he had taught based on Islam and Sharia law to his people. I am told that there are already over 1,000 new believers in this small village. Praise God! The people stayed all night praising God after their sheikh’s healing.

This second email is also from Doctor Nibras and was received the next morning, October 15, 2026.

Greetings, Brother Jack:

I am sorry to share what has happened to Pastor Abdelrahem and his companions, men who are literally sacrificing their lives for the sake of Christ Jesus of Nazareth. The pastor and the men with him sustained serious injuries from being beaten and stoned. He and his companions suffered severe facial trauma, among other injuries, and their condition has not yet improved since it happened. They remain in Saudi Arabia, living in a tent near the mosque where Al Sha’bani was healed. Although he and his companions are still alive, they are currently unable to walk. They have also lost a lot of blood. Nevertheless, with Omar, Shahbandar and Mortada on their way to join him, Abdelrahem is using his time and what little strength he has to continue training more leaders so that the work may go on — regardless of the outcome.

I hesitate to share more of what God has revealed to me. Please pray. All they have asked for is prayer so that they might return to places where they can reach more people who hate them and share with them what they have to offer. May we all possess such devotion and faith.

Hundreds are being reached every week. This is no exaggeration, friends. All he asks for is prayer, as well as the provision of booklets and more Bibles — things these people value even more than their own lives. I pray that more than just a handful of us will be moved to pray for this man who is near death, especially since God commands us to do so. I could say more, but I will refrain, as I do not wish to endanger those who are so diligently carrying out what God has asked of them.

Friends, please realize the gravity of the situation in the Middle East today. Arab nations are collapsing and weapons of mass destruction are set to be used. Those close to the situation say that a major war involving Israel, its neighbors, and Iran is imminent. It could potentially erupt in the coming weeks or even days.

What are we offering to the Kingdom of God? What shall we do in the weeks ahead? Let us make the most of them. Our eternal destiny, as well as the destiny of tens of thousands of lost souls, is at stake. Please reject the demands of this dying world and fix your eyes upon Jesus Christ, the King of Kings, who is coming!

I received an additional email from Dr. Nibras with some more information at midday on October the 15th.

Greetings, Brother Jack:

I received news of Pastor Abdelrahem, Hayel, Arshid, and two others miraculously surviving death after being cornered by a group of ten religious extremists. The attackers intent was to kill them slowly and inflict a maximum amount of pain. The men were brutally beaten with clubs and pelted with stones, not leaving a single part of their bodies uninjured. None of them were able to walk afterward. In fact, they could barely move. Their followers managed to get them into the tent of one of Al Sha’bani’s wives, a woman named Mabrouka.

Then tragedy struck again. Mabrouka had only begun teaching what she had learned of the Gospel from Abdelrahem two days earlier. She was caught telling others about Jesus and brutally murdered. The killers were five women and two men, who slashed her to pieces with knives and left her to die on the road — all because they caught her teaching others about Jesus with a booklet titled “The Blood of Jesus” in her possession.

Brother Jack, I cannot even begin to describe how deeply I was affected. Tears flowed and I was on the verge of sobbing when I received the news. I could not find the words to speak. Yet God intervened and helped me. I was able to pray for them all, and we ask that you too keep them in your prayers.

Your brother,

Dr. Nibras

The Bible tells us that the devil comes to kill, steal, and destroy, but Jesus came to give us life, and life more abundantly. One can see the contrast between the two in the words above. God brings abundant life to people who have no hope, and then the enemy of our souls viciously attacks to try to stop what God is doing. The evil one cannot win this war. The battle has already been won.

That being said, the violence of the enemy cannot be ignored. We in the West cannot even imagine it. Such a tremendous miracle and then such absolute savagery. The ten militants responsible for the attack on Abdelrahem and the others are a Slavic Muslim group that goes by the name of Sulafim.

I have no information on who it was that attacked Sheikh Al-Sha’bani’s wife, Mabroukah. The sheikh’s other wives, Baheja, Tawfekah, and I believe Sadeyah will carry on the work that Mabroukah had begun. People who knew Mabroukah said, in spite of her young faith in Jesus, she loved the Lord very much and His light in her life was very obvious. It is amazing that this woman so young in her faith had such strength in the face of death. She is now in the presence of the One she had learned to love so much!

Thank you all for your prayers and support. The House of Blessing is grateful to you all for both!

Incidentally, I have a copy of sermon material that Pastor Abdelrahem taught just before tragedy struck. It will be part of a special update coming up.

Forever in His Service,

Jake (aka Jack)
